I think kind of unnecessary re-mastering a game because of the fun there with the PS2 will not change anything in my opinion, they would be easier to do a remake of oh yes it is worth buying!
There is a huge difference between this and the original. I have a backwards compatible ps3 and if you play the ps2 version with the upscaling it looks like shit but when you use this version it looks fuckin amazing. I'm selling my ps2 versions. I don't need them anymore.
@TheUnbiasedGamer Looks the same when you use an emulator and use your ps3 controller and ps2 games. The games look way better then they used to be in a ps2. Everything so clean and crisp.
Omg I'am listen to the Gow new song creator of worlds and when he said the gods have abandoned me the song was slow and when he jump the song kick i my mouth dropped
@loquend1 ya que hablas español te lo dire en español XD..hay mas cantidad de FPS..osea si en ps2 corre a 60 pero tienes sus bajones hasta 38 fps..en ps3 se mantiene siempre en 60 ..tambien el juego esta remasterisado en HD..sea que no veras esos molestos dientes de serrucho en algunas esquinas y mejor efecto de luz...pero en respecto a la calidad grafica se mantiene tecnicamente igual salu2
Yeah, i've been playing through these again. I played both on the PS2, I love the God of War series so much. And GoW III has me super psyched. The HD remastering on GoW I&II is pretty awesome on the graphics and cut-scenes, but the in-game graphics to suffer because of the conversion. But otherwise the remastered quality is certainly amazing.
Yes there is, the remastered graphics in 720p resolution looks way better. Both games are much brighter, character models look more detailed, and you can a lot more details that were just that visible due to the standard definition of the PS2. Also, GoW2 no longer has the screen tearing, and the frame rates have been smoothed over, so both games play much smoother. It's all about small details here and there that improve the overall package considerably.

i have god of war I and II on my ps2..but this game is so fucking awesome..for that reason i want to buy on my ps3
