  • you might also check out Libera's version of Silent Night...it's the best,no over-singing or extraneous notes,no soul or jazz embellishing..just pure voices focused in harmony

  • @littlemikey1954

yeah i knew i forgot a couple others...they're all miles better than a beyonce or a britney spears.. modern singers oversing and sound corny as sh*t,too ghetto

  • A very big holiday tune during the christmas holiday season of 1960 right around the time yours truly came Into the world! Though It was originally recorded during the christmas holiday time of 1958 It was'nt released until the christmas holiday of 1969 the could'nt have picked a better time. Long live little miss dynamite Brenda Lee.

  • @MagicGary1960 Typo I meant 1960 not 1969?

  • @MagicGary1960 This was on the shelf for way too long. Are you sure it was a 69 release?

  • @crazyromanian1 No I corrected myself Christmas of 1960 It came out? I believe It was origianally recorded In Christmas time of 1958 but never released until 1960!1

  • @MagicGary1960 it was released in 1958 but did not sell, tried again in 1960 and it took off and became the classic we know today.

  • @beefycajun Correct I pretty much stated that later In my Threads Recorded In 1958 but did'nt really take off on the charts because Brenda Lee was an unkown artist then? But It was Re-released In the fall of 1960 and took off from there as Brenda was becoming a major star then! Thanks for the post happy holidays.

  • @crazyromanian1 I was right It was recorded In 1958? But did'nt take off on the charts until 1960 when Brenda Lee became popular!!!

  • @MagicGary1960 My bad, I didn't see the notes regarding your typo. Yeah 1960 is definitely correct. What a great song and artist.

    Merry Christmas
