If this is the Spanish version, the announcer SHOULD be saying "Ataque," which is the imperative conjugation of "Atacar" which means "to attack." Since the announcer keeps shouting "Atacar," he's actually shouting "To attack!" instead of "Attack!" like he should be.
Gwen can go ahead and try. Listen, I realize he's there to be eye candy, and I admit he isn't a bad actor, but his fighting style is 50% break dancing, 50% gymnastics, and 0% effective. Watching him fight matches against real martial artists (especially ones as good as Tiger Claw, Machine and Red Dragon) is ridiculous. I think it's the 'heel clapping' kick that pushes it over the top. Every time I see that, I just shake my head.
Seriously, I don't know if it's because of contractual reasons, or just for tradition's sake, but Chris Casamassa played Scorpion in both Mortal Kombat movies, and has voiced him in practically every incarnation. It's a good thing.
red dragon was always my favorite he was scorpion in both mortal kombat movies machine was in the first mortal kombat movie which he gets his ass kicked by liu kang
How could anyone not know this, this was the 5th dragon star match. i dont know why they made the screen flash "violation" in this match, but then again i dont know why ITS NOT IN ENGLISH!!!! still this was one of the matches i never saw....untill now....
its been years but i finally saw it. I feel complete.
Because...they televised it in Spanish? That's usually why shows are in Spanish. Honestly, I'm glad to see any version of WMAC these days, no matter what language it's in.
Dang, I wish it had the same success up here. ^_^ The martial artists were all top notch (especially the two in this very video), but the lack of 'kiddie' appeal doomed it, unfortunately.
Mortal Kombat 2? Oh yeah, the plot was absolutely terrible, and they killed the best character in the first five minutes. That said, the martial arts was still quite good, thanks to the martial artists such as Red Dragon here (Scorpion) and Tony Jaa (Liu Kang's stunt double...for more of him, check out the movie Ong Bak)
By the way, in case anyone doesn't remember, you know all those parts in this clip where the video screen reads "VIOLATION" and the council sends a ninja in? This occurs every time a fighter leaves the ring (such as, for instance, stepping on one of the walkways LEADING to the ring or touching the "throne"). It's meant to punish fighters for not staying within boundaries.
The rematch was the dragonstar match. Those 2 were so good on the show. Did you see when they fought for the third time in the train station in season 2?
i used to take martial arts and i was tought by daniel pasina who was johnny cage and a bunch of other characters in the origional mk games i met ho sung pak who played super star

@marotrsaum African Santa? I thought Santa was chubby. The Machine is too fit to be Santa.

machine and great wolf were the MAN.
ccr61851 4 years ago
Did you post this in every WMAC video?
Seriously, Great Wolf fights like a male cheerleader. Machine, however, is indeed the man.
robertmfreeman 4 years ago
nope
Don't tell gwen that great wolf fights terrible or else she'll beat you up real good...

the funniest part was when he stays and crosses his legs in it for a moment to get a feel before finally going back to fight.
