@raporfest I bought the Second Genesis and Lifelines trades, but haven't gotten around to reading them. I still like his art during this period, but I wish he would return to his early 80's style.
How far the mighty have fallen. Byrne used to be the shit back in the day. But he's burned his bridges with the big two, and his work doesn't sell hotcakes like it used to so nobody wants to deal with his attitude.

Yet I pretty much agree with him on the WW Byrne run. My biggest annoyance was not only Etrigan but that the supporting cast grew to such a disproportionate level that it wasn't about Wonder Woman anymore.
Only thing I liked was the creation of the new Wonder Girl(the idea). And the underground city. Worst was origin of Troia. By fusing everything that happened to her, he made it worst!

I personally would have wanted Vanessa to become Wonder Girl since she was for a long time, Diana's little sister and creating Cassie was completly unnessary. I totally agree with you on the origin of Troia, Byrne just made Donna's history even more fucken confusing.
You're 16 and into DC? That's cool man! Most comic book fans I know in your age group are totally into Marvel. You should check out the Comic Culture Warrior channel if you haven't already. There are alot of like-minded posters like me there who aren't too thrilled about Marvel's business practices and creative choices these days.
Yeah he did. He was bitching in a interview how he could have done Flash:Rebirth "1,000 times better" then Johns which is complete bull shit if you look at his work after he rebooted Superman. Seriously this guy has one of biggest egos in the comic book industy.

I didn't like how Byrne drew Diana, she looked too maschine. I liked how Byrne drews the Gods, the Amazons, Neron, and Darkseid during his run.
