This song is just a metaphor for a "forbidden" romance between friends--"Garden of Eden" is a metaphor for innocence, and the snake is used to depict desire that draws the singer away from it. That fruit is the romance itself, and the "fatal illness" is the sin associated. To me, that doesn't even sound like he feels like this toward a girl, as that doesn't make much sense given the cultural origin of the writer. So. Len, why you so gay?

The way I interpret this song is that Len is in love with a close friend, and is terrified of losing that friendship if he makes a move and reveals his feelings. He does so anyway way, and because of that feels guilt and shame for the feelings he has for this person who was supposed to just be a friend, yet at the same time all he wants is to make things work, even if in the end he loses everything.

kay, so, basically len is apparently in the garden of eden and hes lusting for some girl (in my mind i see rin) but he cant have what he wants because its a sin and he'd be forced out. He tries to suppress it but it overcomes it and does that with the girl, which results in him having to "get away from the garden of eden". Oh and the snake...probably made len have these thoughts in the first place. Oh well....thats just how i see it....AM I RIGHT?!?!? :D

From a more metaphorical standpoint, I feel that the song deals more with relationships, specifically the line between friendship and (sexual) love. Len's whole dilemma deals w/ his lustful feelings for someone he treasures; he's afraid that if they take that one step beyond friendship, their entire relationship will be ruined. Snake=temptation, and I believe that Eden=innocence/stability, which sex could possibly destroy.
