People who send these charlatans money are either gullible or just sad lonely people who are desperately looking for meaning in their lives. Why not send it to more worthy causes like Oxfam, Save the Children or Unicef where it will reach the people who most need it? Starving babies in Somalia need the money more than any evangelist!

Of course, it does not mean we would not sin, as this video and our daily lives demonstrate, but I wouldn't call myself a minister if I had committed adultery. 1 Timothy 3:2 says, "Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife...self-controlled". I very much doubt that he is "very ashamed of" his sin. He only came forward because someone blackmailed him--hardly the evidence of godly repentance.

An important point was missed. Marcus had the affair while he was in ministry his second call after going to the the counsellor was talking to the leaders of his denomination. Marcus had a responsibility to disclose this information. If it was not for the threat of extortion no one would have known about the affair. So now he cant preach for two years?
