can I please please ask what format is the caption file in for your japanese subtitles? For some reason I cant edit Japanese subtitles on my computer can you please provide some help??

Well picked, yes I use Subtitle Workship (excellent free software) and I save in the format "SubRip" which comes out as lovely YouTube friendly .SRT file captions. Captions are one of my favorite features on YouTube - because you can display or hide, select, and as a creator, you can go and easily reupload captions that have errors in them, as is often the case!

thanks for capturing the event in HD. what camera do you have? xacti HD model?

Actually, I used two cameras, my Xacti CA8 (which is not HD, only 640x480) (which are the parts that are not fullscreen) and my Canon HF10 (which is HD, and widescreen). The key to showing it in HD was encoding the video in AVC 720P format. It is nice to be able to upload in such a clear format, although I hope that the software makers come out soon with a solution that makes the files as small as possible because right now, these files are HUGE ;)

I dont know....last time I went to the Hanami...i was walking around yoyogi koen for like...an hour..there were too many people there and hard to find the youtube folks..I even called tkosam asking where they were and he goes..."uhh yeah were by a waterfall thingy and cabin!"...he was lost too...so yeah we'll see
