  • LOVE this video she is so cool i wish i could meet her p.s. BUTTERFLY IS MY FAVORITE STROKE!<3

  • At the end, she looks like a fish foreal.

  • only one thing comes to mind when i hear Misty Hyman! BEEEASSTT!

  • I swim at the same club that she came from. One day she help my whole group with our stream lines. She so amazing we all miss her

  • this is just a show of misty; not about butterfly swimming or teaching. useless

  • @dukeassa - As stated before, this is a trailer for her "for sale" DVD, which you can also now rent here on YouTube.

  • @goswim098 How do I rent a video ? On youtube ???

  • @dukeassa you can still get techniques by watching her moves.. XD

  • MAN! she practically had her whole body jump out of the water at 1:59!

  • You can now RENT Misty's video here on YouTube. Do a search for "Go Swim Butterfly with Misty Hyman".

  • godddDAAAAAAAAAMN. 0_0

  • If you can't learn anything from that stick to running or cycling.

  • damn straight.

  • @gamrkidd the name "butterfly" is mainly focus on the motion and feeling of arms, the body motion certainly not refer to the real butterfly but the real dolphin. The front view of butterfly stroke also like butterfly, but not focus on the mechanism. But why it is called "butterfly" is related to the evolution from breaststroke in history. And also , due to the elasticity of our body, the dolphin stroke in "butterfly" is more difficult than only "dolphin"

  • This is just the trailer for her DVD. Visit our website for more information on how to see the rest.

  • There's NO step-by-step instruction at all. It's just montage video of this woman swimming. Gold Medalist Misty Hyman DOES NOT share the key focus points that she uses in her training and clinics to develop perfect butterfly technique.

Is there a second part? Am I missing something?

  • good videa

  • 1:55 was so cool :D

  • Her legs are so wavy at 1:56-2:00

  • @Silkenos omg that part was sick. if my legs could do that I'd totally rock at butterfly.

  • this is the easiest way to swim for me, and I am a beginner. I learned this myself a few days ago and before that I barely knew how to move in the water... but why is this dolphin kick also called the butterfly kick? I see no resemblance in the motion of a real butterfly with this

  • @gamrkidd as go swim stated, it is only the trailer, i don't know why you can understand what the way misty swum. But for the common, the easiest way is to swim the non-competitive butterfly but not the misty's competitive one. And, for normal person, much training is needed, such as using fins or monfin, to understand the dolphin well. I think the person gave you poor comment is related to this concept.

  • Me too, and I love her butterfly style.. it looks so easy when she swims ♥.♥
