Rafting and Surfing the Upper Nolichucky river

when i was 4 years old me and my family were camping on that little island u can see in the back ground.Me ,my dad ed and uncle conway surfed that whole day untli we flipped.thats been about 1`5 years ago,but i still remember that day.

Wow, this is so cool. I go to Unaka Springs every summer and we go out on the Nolichucky almost every day.. We usually put in right at this spot which we refer to as the Gulf hole and float back to the springs. It's so beautiful here and it is a truly amazing place to visit.
