thank you for also being part of this effort. I didn't have any problems either they just didn't want to sign for the service. Did the representatives for your Reps and Senators sign the service?
The Right-to-Petition dates all the way back to the Magna Carta of the 13th Century. The foundation of our entire legal system is based upon it. The Right-to-Petition is an enumerated Right guaranteed in the Bill of Rights -- and specified as the last ten words of the First Amendment. It is a fundamental Right of the American People to petition their "servant" government for a redress of grievances, when such Constitutional grievances exist. These are known legally as "Constitutional Torts".
All of our unalienable Rights, enumerated in the U.S. Constitution, are not mere "privileges" that can be taken away or modified at the whim of government, except by the Constitutional Amendment process, or by Constitutional Convention & those are THE ONLY TWO WAYS that it can be altered. The Constitution is our nation's highest law, governing our gov't, and expressing the Rights of the People, not the Rights of the Government. It specifically enumerates the Government's powers and authority.
Our government has traveled far beyond the bounds of its given powers and authority. It has effectively wiped out the Bill of Rights (with the exception of the lonely Third Amendment). Bob Schulz and the We the People Foundation, a non-profit organization, seek to restore our lost Rights via the Right to Petition clause of the First Amendment -- which is the "capstone Right" that protects all others -- and is simultaneously the "accountability clause" to correct errant governmental behavior.
Bob, and his organization, have taken this issue of defining the contours of this most critical Right to the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this year. The Supreme Court, defied its very own precedent, and very illegally neglected its primary function to interpret "first impression" Constitutional questions. The U.S. Supreme Court has NEVER interpreted the Petition Clause of the First Amendment, and by not doing so, committed Constitutional Treason by denying certiorari (refusing) to hear the case.
So, the highest Court in the Land just refused to interpret the Constitution. This was a MAJOR lawsuit with about 1500 individually-named plaintiffs involved in suing the Government for a re-declaration of their (and everyone else's) unalienable and fundamental Rights by the U.S. Supreme Court.
The Foundation isn't seeking to challenge mere statutes, which are a lower form of "animal" than a Constitutional Right. An enumerated Right takes higher precedence than any individual statute or collection of statutes. This Right-to-Petition allows the People the capability to enforce all the others. The argument for, and the history of this Right, is sound and provides the basis for People to re-chain their supposedly "servant" government to the Constitution that is supposed to govern IT.
I think that the goverment providing 4,000 dollars per semester per 100 hours of public service. Some people would argue that this does not help anyone, but it is an alternative option for those like me who can't afford it, YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE OVER $600 WORKING 100 HOURS ON MIN WAGE. At least this way, when you graduate, you don't have to pay off a student loan!...you will be ahead of the game, not dragged down by loan payments
Happy to see you serving the senators for violations of the constitution. If I were Jon Kyl, I would be ashamed of my closed door policy to constituents and of my actions in congress. But I'm not Sen. Kyl and I don't believe he feels any shame. I've already signed the petitions and hope others will too. These congressmen are so disrespectful to the people their supposed to be serving. It's really shameful behavior.
Obama's list of things he wants to do within 100 days of presidency.(not sure if they are in order)
1. Pass a bill to disallow any politician from taking money from lobbiests that represent companies and special interests. (this is the very 1st step to de-corrupting Americas congress and senate, it might not get passed by congress of course)
2. as for healthcare and student loans,
he keeps saying that the source of the problems are the profiting middle men companies, and he's exactly right
where does the constitution give the federal government the right to dictate Healthcare, Public Education... etc. The First Step to ending corruption is to REDUCE SPENDING. As Long as the money is there for the taking there is NO LAW that can be written that will correct ANYTHING. The Constitution was written very specifically and still it was subverted. What makes you think that Obama is not part of the problem. He is a CON Man just like every other member of CON gress Save one- Ron Paul.
he keeps saying that the source of the problems are the profiting middle men companies, and he's exactly right."
Who are the middle men? For student loans, they're the banks. They offer NO RISK loans and actually have the gaul to charge exorbitant interest rates because the loans are backed by guess who? The Federal Reserve Bank (the govt's central bank). They create the money that funds those loans out of thin air.
So students are becoming indebted and paying interest on money that came out of nowhere. Who's the middle man? THE BANKS. They're the winners and the students are the losers. Btw, before the banks got involved in this student loan scam, how did people ever pay for college? And why was college so much more affordable to average working families? The higher-education costs suddenly skyrocketed right into orbit as soon as the banks (the Federal Gov't) got involved. Banks win. You lose.
Healthcare has followed a similar course, with the insurance companies being the middle men (which are of course, funded by the banks). The advent of so-called "managed care" (HMO's PPO's, etc) began the insurance company scamming phase of healthcare beginning in the late 1970's. What did we ever do without "managed care" before this. Virtually EVERY employer was REQUIRED by law to pay for health insurance for their employees. Who wins? The insurance companies and the banks. Who loses? You.
"What makes you think that Obama is not part of the problem."
How do you assume that he is part of this lobbyist problem when he is trying to ban all of congress and senate to stop taking money from them?
I can't find anything on McCain's solution to fix these problems? Yet he will only talk about Obama "Just talking and not telling us what he's going to do about them"
If I am wrong, then please provide links to proof, oh do PLEASE fill me in on what McCain's big plans are to fix the economy.

I don't know about Hawai'i Congressional District 2.

get rid of the federal reserve and you wouldn't need the loan. Understand the 14th amendment turned us all into slaves of the federal government.
