  • This Was Fucking Sexy I Must Admit....

  • Stupid sexy Flanders...

  • I've heard Flim on the local weather forecasts on the Weather Channel a few times. I always felt like it was a little out of place. But now that I've heard this, I'm pretty sure it fits right in on the Weather Channel. I mean that in a good way, I love Weather Channel music...

  • @ChablesMan I lol everytime the Weather Channel plays Lady Gaga in the morning. They play a lot of different songs, most are pretty good.

  • tranquility lies within this video

  • what guitar are you playing?

  • a bit too fast if you play this slowly it'd be great!!

  • ah.

    now i am peaceful

  • I like this man its nice

  • Your father doesnt happen to be named Ned?

  • awesome job man

  • WOW!!

My arrangement of this cannot even light a candel next to yours...

I will HAVE to learn this your way...

    Hats off to you man!

  • beautiful, just beautiful!

  • I've been playing bass for 14 years now, I need to learn guitar and play thee songs though. It will take some time after almost a three year break from music due to the Army though. Oh well, one more thing to do to better myself when I get out of Afghanistan.

Really good job on these songs man, I appreciate it.

  • Hey man, as a fellow guitarist (though not one with your ear, apparently) I gotta say 'thanks,' especially for including the tabs. Flim has always been one of my favorite Aphex Twin songs and learning it on guitar will be fun.

  • OH 2:35 !!!! amazing

  • 1:09!!! WOW!!!!!

  • i love how warm does this song sounds on guitar compared to the original

  • very nice

  • ...... i dare you to try and acoustic "come to daddy" hahaha great job on this and others

  • Absolutely brilliant!!

  • You should play this again with someone on drums ;D

  • @Conkern65 I'd be more than happy to cover drums for this song! I've only practiced it a few hundred times...lol

  • This is so wonderful, I mean it. Hearing these songs on a classical guitar makes you realize how melodic Aphex Twin's music really is. I loved your take on Flim. Please keep making these interpretations. They are not flawless, but nonetheless very entertaining to listen to.

    Best of luck to ya!

  • Amazing, just amazing. Your guitar is really bringing peace to my soul in troubled times. I'll have to get back to guitar playing to keep my head 'straight.' I just can't believe how amazing this sounds....

  • @ilikemitchhedberg ya playing a song yourself really connects you with it like nothing else can. I wish I could play piano, but I don't have the time to take on such a huge learning curve.

  • @AndrewFlanders

isn't as hard as you might imagine bro. Someone as clearly talented as you should have no big problem pickin it up. I just picked out a few chords from me guitar found the notes a few years ago and if you play it enough you'll get it. Oh and thanks for you music, it's spellbinding

  • lovely!

  • I love Aphex Twin and one of my dream was to listen his art in an orchestration way, and I discovered "Alarm Will Sound", awesome.

Now i discover you, and it's great to listen Aphex's stuff played with an acoustic guitar ( i play guitar, but not as good as you!). You're awesome man.

    Congratz.

  • you the man, thanks for puttin this tab up!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like it. A different take on a good thing is always welcome. Thanks

  • thank you

  • Thank you for the tabs and videos, really appreciated!

  • Thank you for the tabs and videos, really appreciated!

  • CHECK OUT MY VERSION OF WINDOWLICKER, RARE VIDEO. real fans only !

    watch?v=hLS4ervU-FM

  • i think listening to aphex songs played in this way give a nice insight to what he is really composing to those who would otherwise find his music just a load of strange noise. Aphex Twin true musical genius and mush overlooked

  • another fantastic work of art!

  • Sounds good, thanks for tha tab.

  • thank you so much for this!

  • great!

  • That's amazing...

I don't want to critisise it bebause it is so fucking beautiful =), but I think there might be a different way of transcribing phrase B....

    ...If that makes sense =)

  • Man, that was epic.

  • greetings from El Salvador!!! great job!!! how about trying Avril 14th... There's already a guy covering it here on youtube, but maybe you have a different take on it... keep up the great work...

  • hey man this is so genius. excellent song to cover

  • It still reminds me on Stromberg

  • jeah!! stromberg from capitol!

  • Excellent job man... sounds really really nice...

  • Amazing job!

    I looooove Aphex Twin!

  • Art! Greetings from Spain :o)

  • this is sweet! Man! Thanks for sharing this as well as making tabs available.

  • cut the kid some slack. he's done a great job. easy now, my son. nice job andrew.

  • Radiohead admits that Aphex Twin was a great influence on Kid A on many interviews id read

  • well done ! that looks very hard to play. so thumbs up!

  • oh shiii, i didn't know that. both brilliant.

  • Very nice, try with a metronome next time.

Doesnt have to be original speed, just steady. Nice!

  • the best part of playing solo is that you can be expressive and use rubato. for examples, see: classical music

  • for some reason this kinda sounds like the beginning of Radiohead's Kid A...

  • radiohead gets accused of borrowing from aphex a lot. maybe they do what I do but release it on an album instead of youtube

  • um.. it was a joke

  • my bad :)

  • @Rafzorz1 Thumbs up if you think Raforz1 is a Douche bag

  • @Rafzorz1 idiot rafzors

  • @Rafzorz1 idiot

  • @Rafzorz1 dumbass

  • @Rafzorz1 Loser that is all

  • i'm happy to pay for radiohead, and'd be very happy to pay for your stuff. nice one

  • @AndrewFlanders could is be that radiohead are shit?

  • @AndrewFlanders Could it be that radiohead are shit?

  • @AndrewFlanders Well to be honest, that's all they even listen to, funny that you bring it up. Everyone on Warp Records; Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, and probably Autechre is all they listen to

  • @dilps its like that saying, once you go [BLANK] you never go back

  • @AndrewFlanders you're getting a little too far there..

  • @AndrewFlanders LOL so get a band dont waste anymore time!!!

  • @AndrewFlanders lmao

  • @APTSproject pretty sure kid a was heavily influenced by aphex twin

  • @APTSproject

--It is widely known that Radiohead's Kid A was widely influenced by your music, in particular 'Come As you Are'...What do you think of their new stuff and other contemporaries?

APHX: Well they widely agreed to pay me 70% of the widely royalties so ,Im not complaining.

  • pretty awesome dude ;D

  • love it

  • Really excellent job.

  • beautiful...

  • what an awesome job!

  • I vote 5* everytime I visit this video.

  • Very nice. AT made some nice tunes that seem to transfer well to other instruments

  • this looks difficult, i'll try to play it on my guitar thanks for the great clip, could be a great lessons for the fingers

  • Awesome.

  • awesome man! if you haven't heard the bad plus' version of this you should check it out.

  • It's pretty good, maybe a tad literal. Check out Alarm Will Sound's Acoustica, their version of Fingerbib is cRaZy!

  • great idea!! i love it!

  • amazing.

  • awesome.

  • i can only repeat the others. Thanks etc. etc. keep it up. - please :P

  • Sounds really nice dude :]

  • nice work man, try to do it with Polynomial C! that would be insane

  • nice version, it's very peaceful

  • good rendition... i feel this guitar version would be perfect for a films soundrack, along the lines of 'tony takatani' or something as equally sentimental.

  • Thanks for all the tabs man it's nice to know that other guitarist are figuring these songs out for everyone. I really like rhubarb could you tab that when you get the time, I know the chord progression is rather easy but I can't play by ear very well.

Btw when I listen to aphex twin for me it makes me calm down and relax.

    Thanks again!

  • I have tab and audio for Rhubarb at the link in the description now

  • Thank you so much, I have been looking for it for so long!

I thought I would mention that Xtal (mostly drums), Stone in Focus, and Windowlicker would also be some cool songs to try to play.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Kinda tricky huh? ;) Always a good song...

  • Why thank you kind sir. ;-)

  • this is great, i've watched all your vids and listen every day, have you thought of doing avril 14th? i love that song

  • There's a couple guitar versions of Avril 14th on youtube now, one was added within the last month. I'll see if there might be an easier way to pull it off than how other people did it though.

  • i just read your info box lol

  • That is Just brilant i love it would it be possible if i could have the tabs ?

  • fuckin ledgend. love it. alberto balsalm is beautiful. tricky. love that someone figured them out. keep it up.

  • it is alright.

    needs work imo

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • maxwolfeee - bless you :P

  • There is a pending video response to this :)

  • I saw your drum videos, very nice. I wish you could drum over my songs my but I didn't use a metronome and I was focused on not messing up completely so the beat is probably all over the place. I've become better at finger style in the past few months though so I'll probably re-record some of these.

  • I can possibly just play to your videos and mix them back down. Will take some time though, as you can imagine.

  • Na, I'll re-record it in the next couple weeks with a metronome in my ear. I tried tapping along and it was fubar. I have a new cover to record at the same time.

  • when you say posted the tabs, to which location? thanks

  • The link is in the more info area, it won't let me put the link in these comments.

  • just noticed you did put them up. All the love!<3 This made me happy. Gonna learn them later on. been looking for something like this, You are the man! Guitar pro. Thanks again!

  • WOW! one of my favorite songs on guitar. And alberto balsalm! Gonna check it out! thanks!!!
