do you have a programmer on your truck? if so what do you have? i ask because your tac was almost at redline! im runnig a hypertec programer on stage 3, with 5in turbo back, and i have never gone over 3000 even pulling a loaded trailer thru the ozarks. im gonna ditch the muffler after watching your vids! Awsome!!!! louder the better. i have vids of my truck too but they dont sound as good.

do mufflers make it any louder on a diesel. my father had a 94 idi banks turbo f350 4 door long bed dually. I dont know if it had a muffler or not but it was pretty loud going up the hill on a cold winters day

man hearing that powerstroke turbo spooling sounds amazing. I have a 01 7.3 Excursion with a hypertech 3 stage and it gets the tires spinning in third gear.

depending what state your in you could pass emissions, or if he was smart and saved the old exhaust to throw on for emissions. In Wisconsin if you have more than eight feet of pipe on a diesel your legal for exhaust sound level. Also the area of the state i live in, they don't do emissions testing. I think they only do it in the Milwaukee area.

@whyzee125 im prittysure it wouldnt make a difference fords sound like that bc they have more compresion than a cummings bc of 8cy not 6 so turbo spools alot better
