I wish that worked but when I have both the Gradient and the Swatches panels open and click and drag a Swatch over one of the colors on the Gradient slider nothing happens. The plus sign does not appear and the color is not added.
I have a question when a put 2 colors a still get the annoying grey line in the middle of the two colors how do i get rid out of that line? please and thank you in advance
@ZawadiSimone Look at the RIGHT side of your Illustrator screen. There's a word there that says "Gradient." Click on it to open up the gradient editor. Now approximately 2 inches above the word "gradient" you'll see the word "swatches." Click on it to see the color palette.
hey, nice video! really liked watching it. keep up the good work. check out my artwork video and adobe CS tutorials if you like, and vote for my artwork!
Thanks. I was trying from two days how to change the color in Gradient. It was just giving me the default color which was black and white. Thanks once more.
but I have a question, if I want to drag a new color which isn't in the swatches palette, I mean I want to select a color, how would I do that? I tried but I couldn't :S

@MrRocknlock Obviously not, because space doesn't have air that can cause noise. ;)

you can also add more then 2 colors to the gradient by dragging the swatches over which is my favorite feature of it:D

When I went through the steps: 'WIndow - Gradient', he palette with all of the colors and options that you have did NOT appear.
(I also had the 'gradient' tool highlighted in the 'tool' palette AND also the bottom 'gradient' button was also highlighted).
Please explain how to get the full palette that you got. I am using CS3.
