  • I wish that worked but when I have both the Gradient and the Swatches panels open and click and drag a Swatch over one of the colors on the Gradient slider nothing happens. The plus sign does not appear and the color is not added.

  • I have a question when a put 2 colors a still get the annoying grey line in the middle of the two colors how do i get rid out of that line? please and thank you in advance

  • you can also add more then 2 colors to the gradient by dragging the swatches over which is my favorite feature of it:D

  • When I went through the steps: 'WIndow - Gradient', he palette with all of the colors and options that you have did NOT appear.

    (I also had the 'gradient' tool highlighted in the 'tool' palette AND also the bottom 'gradient' button was also highlighted).

    Please explain how to get the full palette that you got. I am using CS3.

  • @ZawadiSimone Look at the RIGHT side of your Illustrator screen. There's a word there that says "Gradient." Click on it to open up the gradient editor. Now approximately 2 inches above the word "gradient" you'll see the word "swatches." Click on it to see the color palette.
