Got this game for christmas and thought that no one would be playing it. Was I in for a surprise. Still lots of people online and it is rumoured that the game was purchased for a mere $5 dollars. May play a bit but I am not a fan of the PS3 controllers and Battlefield 3 is stealing most of my game time.

GameBot, a hardware-based type bot, doesn't make any trace on the game server unlike the other software-based program that you can easily download on the internet. so,NEVER worry about the delete of your account!
@kidcyber008 S.V.E.R.-Too easy because it is the team that always wins. But you have AK-47 I think which is a sick gun. Raven- Is more technologically advanced and has exotic weapons. Valor- The manliest faction because everything is more challenging and your weapons are pretty standard American Army.
Choose wisely (Get away from SVER, too many players gunning for that faction)
@kidcyber008 S.V.E.R wins quite a bit. I used to be on Raven and didn't get anywhere, but as soon as I swapped to S.V.E.R I've won about half the battles I've played, and lots of people are friendly in the fact that they'll help you out by healing etc.
@kidcyber008 You can either buy a new character slot (But I don't think you can until the PS store comes back up, unless it is up, I don't know haha) or you can delete the one you have and make a new one. I was already a relatively low level character on Raven anyway so I deleted it and made a SVER one :)
This review is way better than IGN's by far. I agree with almost everything this guy says....almost.
For starters, why hate on the music? Most people playing MAG love it, especially when it kicks in after getting a kill streak, or doing a lot of things like a combination of repairing, destroying, healing, and killing without dying. I myself love the music in this game and feel it fits in well.
@Bardock257 Second, the squad leader controls are not all issued with the D-pad. That's just for calling in strikes or changing to platoon chat. Otherwise the D-pad is the same for people who aren't squad leader. Issuing commands like setting goals are accomplished with the select button, then choosing what you want to go for on the map.

it really dosent matter, im from the uk and my connection is varied no matter who i am with, it all depends on the host and your connection to the internet, you will play with anyone around the world who plays the game

I wish more video game dev's would but graphics in the back seat (Some where at or below Frontlines level) in exchange for huge multiplayer fights like MAG. Imagine a 100v100 Star wars game, or gears, or Halo! Or any shooter really.
MAG 2.0 allows greater customisation of classes. Working as a team is only a problem when you don't have a good clan, or mic. You can get rid of the cheesey game music by turning the volume down on the options? Besides this guy seems to have only heard the valor music. The controls are easily learnt. Being a squad leader is as easy as you make it, commanding isn't difficult if you know what to do >< and thats my two cents on where this review has gone wrong

i would say that IF YOU GET THIS GAME, GET A BLUETOOTH HEADSET FIRST. Its like when you in a vehicle and your buddys driving. Your getting thrashed by RPG's. Too bad your little buddy's too stupid to notice the health bar, let alone hes getting hit. You want him to pull over to repair but he doesn't . GETS FUGGING ANNOYING. Also it takes a remarkable long time to buy a weapon or attachment. Overall this game is not the best...
I agree with everything except your gripe on the music. I feel that the tunes are rather catchy and enjoyable, especially for something that only plays for like half a minute and then stops. ESPECIALLY Valor's music. Kicks butt!

Now this is a good review, better than IGN's review. IGN is bias against the PS3 b/c IGN favours the 360. However, if a game is multi-platform, then IGN will have a fair review.

@TheSwampcritter they had to dumb down the graphics to get the amount of people that mag has in the rooms, the more people the bigger the map has to be and the more the system has to render. if you want to play a ps3 game that looks good okay Uncharted or killzone

Instead of saying: "...if you're playing a lot of MW2..." you should say: "...if you're playing a lot of Call of Duty..." since MW2 pretty much has the same controls as CoD 4 and 5.
Very good review- I have over 500hrs in this game and it's very true; you must play with a group of players(Clan) that are willing to play as a team, this is not MW2 peeps.

@TheWeirdMusic. Well, then how does it manage 256 players, sweet guns, great developers, new maps, awesome sniping, parachutes, prestige mode (like cod's), a large community, and TEAMWORK... all within a video game that you buy at a store.
WAY more teamwork, excellent music, commandos have to be played in a smart way, every game I go into has a competent Squad Leader, Platoon Leader. and Officer in Charge. The controls are basically the same as CoD.
Now this is retarded. ign gave this game 7.5 and now an 8!!!!!!!WTF THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE. I bought the game because it was given a high score. the graphics and gameplay are terrible. the spawning system is shit. there are very few guns. S.V.E.R's guns are over powered and have the easyist maps!!

Now this is a good review, better than IGN's review. IGN is bias against the PS3 b/c IGN favours the 360. However, if a game is multi-platform, then IGN will have a fair review.

@TheSwampcritter they had to dumb down the graphics to get the amount of people that mag has in the rooms, the more people the bigger the map has to be and the more the system has to render. if you want to play a ps3 game that looks good okay Uncharted or killzone

Well I think U Should see how the LAG in MAG Domination Matches is Effecting the game.
If you goto MAG.com Official Forums under General Discussion, Search for "Request For Regional Server Selection"
Seems that ALOT of US and European Players are being Forced onto Japanese Servers which means ALOT of Latency Issues due to Distance.
Average US-Japan Ping is Around 200ms The Average European-Japan Ping is 300ms - This has now made Domination Unplayable.

Instead of saying: "...if you're playing a lot of MW2..." you should say: "...if you're playing a lot of Call of Duty..." since MW2 pretty much has the same controls as CoD 4 and 5.

Very good review- I have over 500hrs in this game and it's very true; you must play with a group of players(Clan) that are willing to play as a team, this is not MW2 peeps.

WAY more teamwork, excellent music, commandos have to be played in a smart way, every game I go into has a competent Squad Leader, Platoon Leader. and Officer in Charge. The controls are basically the same as CoD.

Now this is retarded. ign gave this game 7.5 and now an 8!!!!!!!WTF THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE. I bought the game because it was given a high score. the graphics and gameplay are terrible. the spawning system is shit. there are very few guns. S.V.E.R's guns are over powered and have the easyist maps!!
