Anyone saying anything negative while comparing Joey and Lars is an idiot. They both have different styles, while both being excellent drummers. I do think that Joey came through for Metallica in fine form in their time of need though. So what if it wasn't the same as Lars... the guy was put on the spot and was essentially doing a song from memory that he most likely hadn't drummed to since he was 14. So he added his own take to it....so what? It sounded good. Respect to him in my book :)

From a fan's perspective, this was fucking awesome, no matter what. To put myself in Joey's shoes, I would be pretty fucking excited to play with my childhood idols, so what if I don't keep perfect time.
