I can't say whether you have to register your boat or not, but they do patrol for everything there - we were two days off on our re-registration of a fishing license and they cracked down on us like we were selling dope. In the end, it was fine, they just followed us to the fish store to make sure we re-registered. If they are watching fishing licenses that hard, they would watch boat registrations too.
i went to busse 3 weeksago it was very nice place can't believe its just minute away from chicago... anyway i saw some people kayaking and im planning to buy a kayak myself next year. do i need a registration or anything for kayak? where can i luanch iit at busse?
@tiburonzr Hey. You probably wont get this since you posted almost a year ago, but you do need to get your kayak registered in illinois. In Wisconsin you do not.
Having lived most my life in Chicago, I have lived in Elk Grove Village for a few years and spent alot of time in Busse Woods. And about 3 weeks ago I went out to Busse Woods after not having been there for about 13 yrs. It hasn't changed and it is still one of my favorite places on earth.
