is this mechanically the same as the hogwarts castle or is a different motor used in this railroad model? I would like to pair up two castles for a double header in the future
@geoazzo I'm not familiar with the Hogwarts Castle mechanism, but I can say that the Railroad County differs from the service diagrams on the Hornby site, as it has a can type motor rather than the ringfield they show.

@UkGeoFF09 yes i see and it also sounds a lot quieter than the hogwarts castle.
those can type motors are not to be under estimated i think it is similar to the 9f railroad motor very quiet yet powerful

I've had three for some time, but I did add another full third and a comp/brake afew weeks prior to getting the County
