The time period when the fifth sun sets is a Mayan and Aztec myth that RATM uses as great symbology of power in this song. The Aztecs came North America and a few centuries before the spanairds came colonized what is Tenochitlan, Cuscatlan and Nicaraos. Basically DF, El Salvador and Nicaragua. Mexica= People of the sun!
