Anaklusmos is supposed to be uncapped not clicked. they ruined the scene where Percy finds out that his dad is Poseidon, they cut out the whole shimmering trident thing. And its at the camp, after he drops the lightning bolt off at Olympus, when him and Luke fight and Percy doesnt make a wave like that until Last Olympian.

Many inconsistencies with the book, but it was still a great movie. He is supposed to have that shield in the next movie because Tyson gave it to him. Annabeth is a blond not brunette.

I love mythology, and Percy Jackson is a good take on that. I just hate how writers get unoriginal in character fabrication. It's always, if the protagonist is male he has this male best friend who is the joker of the group with another female friend who is most likely to be the reasonable and smart one. It's so used, like Harry Potter all over again..

i just bought one of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson titles, 'Percy Jackson and the last Olympian' , u know, I heard of this movie but I never watched it. Its like the comedy version of the true story, i needed Dionysus bull$#!t, Clarisse temper, and Percy kicking Ares butt. Oh yeah Clarisse plays a big part in in the upcoming books, and now that they don't have her the rest of the movies are set up to fail. I recently saw the movie so I'm gonna give my opinion. The movie itself was very good. It was entertaining and exciting. However, compared to the book, I would probably give the movie a D. The plot was twisted around and changed so much that they're gonna have to twist around the plot of the second story even more for the sequel. I hated that they left out key characters (like Clarisse and Aries and Dionysus) and scenes. One thing that kept bugging me was that he was using the winged shoes!
