Nice tank dude. I think what you're feeding is good and a great way to fatten up your fish. However, when I feed frozen cubes I always defrost them in a brine shrimp net (in a cup of tank water) first. Once defrosted I discard that water and put the defrosted food in new sea or RO water, then mix it up with the vitamins, flake etc. You're introducing pollutants into the system from the water the cubes were originally frozen in. Could be a source of the diatoms... How often do you feed?
@skylardejohn I feed twice a day and have no diatoms (source was old lights). I soley use pemysis for frozen food since this video their are NO BINDING AGENTS, fillers or water added to packaging. There are no way to bring in any contaminates since its flash frozen
New life spectrum. The best food ever invented!! I'd recommend the medium size pellets. Your fish will absolutely love it and it's very clean. No more food being trapped behind you rocks. It takes a day or two to break down. Your fish will most definitely consume it before that. I feed mysis 2-3 times per week. Spectrum every day. You'll notice your fish getting a lot more fat and healthy. I swear by this stuff. Have you ever tried it? btw very nice tank. I like your fish selection.
@flippintheweeds They are Green Chromis, go to bluezooaquatics under damsel, they do not have their own section. if you need more on them let me know, I have eleven and I started with twenty. They fight so one can be the boss amongs them selfs.
