hey jeff @keytar jeff! you play awesome! also, u inspire me to buy a keytar and to improve my skills on the keys than choosing to improve on guitar first if i even will practice to use guitar!. anyway, i just bought a roland ax synth keytar.so, could i save and install any of the custom patches voices from RealGuitar, RealStrat& RealLPC into my keytar permanently? even though i didnt made a comment fancy enough , i hope u could reply in less than a month. if not, thanks anyway!
@marcosgpro You can store ONLY the patch information on the Keytar. The sounds will be coming from a computer. The "RealGuitar products are Software Instruments.
@KeytarJeff thanks. one more question: are the finger positions on a keytar different from a standard keyboard? and should i learn differently on a keytar than a keyboard? and lastly, do u know a website or a book where it teaches to use keytars to the expert level as you? i know i could have search around but i tirelessly didnt found any. so i ask you directly. i hope that excuse me. will wait 4 your response!
@marcosgpro The fingering is different. I think the best learning tools are my instruction videos. I also teach via ichat when time permits and accept paypal. Thanks for asking,
I play Musiclab RealStrat & LPC with my usual computer keyboard :D through Fl STUDIO... so mr.Keytareff's perfomance just amazing! How does his keyboard called? (sorry for bad eng))
that keytar looks beautiful but also looks like it weighs a ton and a half.
sure, pls email me the costs, weight & other specs... and, hope you don't mind the further prodding but, could you list the SW and HW you have in your live rig (NAMM videos) and the one at your home (Other videos where the women's bra is dangling from the door knob) ;-)
@TBO123 In the NAMM videos i (softsynths) RealGuitar, RealStrat& RealLPC. My "amp" sims are Amplitube&Guitar Rig. The wireless is a "Kenton". The computer is a "Mac". The Host is "MainStage" and the P.A is the Bose Personal& the microphone is "AKG". My home Gig Rig also includes the Bose L1 system Yamaha Cp 33, KORG x50. I do all my own arrangements In Logic Audio(in realtime) for Playback i use an Ipod and for charts, an ipad.
Instead of having each person ask the same questions...
would you mind posting some info on what you are playing (instrument) how you made it etc.. how others can get one (if possible) and of course plug the SW that you are demoing ;-) music lab has never looked better! Lastly, why not get yourself into a room and present similar demos in front of a camera.. just for your youtube fans... that NAMM footage may be good but I know you can do better
@TBO123 The folks that asked the questions at NAMM, were manufactures, distributors, retailers, artists&producers. I completely agree a "Live" in depth Utube clinic would be really fun. The "instrument" was made for me. if your interested in one, please email me for details. Thanks for ALL your comments!
