  • No, it is not 'different interprataions of the same evidence'. Creationists don't look at the evidence.

''Clams on the top of mountains' is as much geology as they know.

  • This is pretty funny, actually. The 'debate' is in the public arena, not the scientific arena. Nothing wrong with questioning evidence, sure. The problem is that creationists only abuse this as a platform to squeeze in their religious ignorance.

When evidence is known to be wrong, the search begins for new evidence. Creationists simply look for another gap to squeeze their god into.

This is why so few are willing to give that inch to religious nuts, they always gun to take the mile.

  • HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.... who keep giving these idiots money to make this crap? The scientific community won't allow a debate? Wow... purely mind boggling. bunch of blind religious fools.... although I'm sure my comment wont be approved... lol, irony.

  • "According to a growing number of scientists"

Stupid lies. Like a person below me stated months ago, it's the same religiously inspired 'scientists' with the same debunked arguments everytime. What they don't understand seems to be science, it has nothing to with supernatural claims.

  • If teachers were allowed to just teach the skill of critical thinking, the foolishness of evolution would quickly become apparent. People pay FAR too much attention to what "other people" are saying, and what their "credentials" are, rather than critically examining the evidence and drawing their own conclusions. Joining a fan club does not make a person "right".

  • @taratorah You are exactly right. Joining a church where everyone believes the same story doesn't make it right. And people pay far too much attention to their paster instead of reading the Bible themselves so they can examine the 90% that never comes out in church. The 90% that doesn't seem to fit with a loving god with morals. And these same people should look at ALL the scientific evidence, not the 0.1% that their church shows them. Yes, lets think people!

  • Just teach the facts, evolution.

  • I see nothing wrong with being critical thinkers and questioning science. Isn't that what science is about- ongoing questioning, observation, testing? What is there to fear? When we are no longer permited to question, we are no longer free people.

  • Don't lift the curtain, Dorothy. You'd better look at the credentials of all of the actors in this video.

  • Luckily high school students don't pay attention to anything that is being taught. In my tenth grade biology, kids were drinking vodka mixed with juice.

  • Only science should be taught in a science class. It's just that simple...

"I believe two things are infinite... the Universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the Universe." - Albert Einstein

  • What's ironic is the time that an ahteist spends disputing something that they claim doesn't exist. My mother passed away February of 2008. This being my first Christmas and first New Years without my mother. Did the knowledge of evolution from my school years help me through my grief. Does it help me now? No what helps me is the hope I have in my heart. The faith in my heart about God. Something I feel, not something I need from a DVD.

  • It's not about winning or losing the debate, on what the guy with the glasses said in the end, it's about the fact the we don't WANT to debate because there IS no debate within the science community and now debating you creates the impression there IS while there ISN'T a debate at ALL. We know we're right, the rest of the world is just susceptable to cons like creationists...

  • What is amusing is that Evolutionists will fight to the death fro every scrap of the theory, when scientists themselves will be abandoning some parts of the idea in coming years. That's how science works. Yet, when a person critical of the attitudes or ideas of some scientists speaks out, they are treated like lepers.

  • No. First off there is no such thing as an "evolutionist". Secondly, parts of the theory are held onto as long as they are viable. If they are proven wrong, they are revised. This is very unlike religion. When contradictions arise in religion, they are simply glossed over or swept under the proverbial carpet.

  • Great! It's about time someone started actually questioning evolution instead of mindlessly accepting it because someone else says there is plenty of evidence for it.

  • Same goes for creationism.........

  • then why should evolution be taught at schools and creationism not?

  • There is. I bet you're brought up to be a Christian. Think clear about the evidence. Don't start from the bible, start from your mind.

  • Q what does Philip Johnson do for a living

    A he's a lawyer

Q what makes him think he's an expert on biology?

A beats the hell out of me

  • ""Cdesign proponentsists"" The missing link between I.D. and creationism

  • " According to a growing number of scientists" and that's why they continue to roll out the same three scientists after all these years

  • *rolls eyes*

there days u can take the old "lawyer" jokes and replace it with "creationist"

the only reason they reject evolution is because it shatters the bible.. it doesnt disprove god, it proves that the bible is full of shit. get the fuck over it and get on with ur life. if u want to teach creationism, then do it in church and far far away from schools. dont waste my tax dollars preaching ur pre-knowledge myths

  • Well, when creationist politics tries to pass itself off as the rigorous ladder of hypothesis, testing, fact, peer review, testing, theory, prediction-making, and new applications that SCIENCE is, why should it be tolerated.

  • Science is not about freedom of speech, science is about truth and testable evidence.

    Creationism = No evidence.

Evolution = More evidence that we are able to put into 1000 Bibles

  • amen to that

  • I find it funny when Creationists say stuff like "There are no transitional fossils!", that Creationist rumour mill eh.

Holocaust deniers, moon landing conspiritors, Creationists, area 51 nut-jobs, whatever I´m going to sleep.

  • I lol'd, thanks

  • We find a arrowhead carved from stone and exclaim that it was made by someone... yet we can now see how complex just DNA is and say that it happened by chance or by selection.???

  • Yes, because we have proof that arrowheads were made by man and absolutely no proof that DNA was crafted by a God.

  • its the painting/car/watch argument, i can'nt believe anyone would still try to use this argument to prove god exists. It has been disproven time and time again.

  • Brengun42-I'm not sure why you're so hung up on the whole "pending approval" thing. I think if you actually looked at the comments on our YouTube videos there are quite a few, if not a majority of opinions, that differ from the posted videos. We have the approval process to reject profanity and inappropriate comments from the discussion. I think you would agree that comments of such distaste add nothing to the discussion.

  • comment pending approval. you know what? censorship proves weakness within your argument.

    You can't post a video damning science for using censorship out of a fear to debate creationism, and then turn right around and use censorship yourself;

We project what we're afraid we've become.

Your side is weak, and needs censorship, so you baseless claim our side of exactly the same thing.

    Typical religious hypocracy.

  • We find a arrowhead carved from stone and exclaim that it was made by someone... yet we can now see how complex just DNA is and say that it happened by chance or by selection.???

  • facepalm

  • bring on the criticism! Let's see it! Wait, where is it?

  • I am happy to finally see a series that critically examines the theory of evolution! As with any theory, it must be supported to stand.

  • "I am happy to finally see a series that critically examines the theory of evolution! As with any theory, it must be supported to stand."

Allright, now go to video google and type in:

critical analysis of icons of evolution and watch the video Extantdodo made about this video.

then you will the truth ;)

  • this is a pathetic attempt to undermine the advances made in genetics and biology-.- cut and paste interviews, even though they are talking about ID NOT evolution, in truth, evolution has overwhelming evidence supporting it:/ people need to research this stuff if they are bothered.

  • This is a very ignorant statement. To say they don't talk about evolution but I.D. demonstrates you have not even seen the DVD. Instead of letting your bigotry drive you to a false conclusion. Watch the DVD before you make such silly statements

  • I can't wait to see more too. God bless,

    Linda

  • Beautiful. I haven't heard of this until now, but I'd definitely like to see more.
