Indeed some countries have already made some steps toward disclosure and there are indications that some of these countries are growing very impatient with the USA's stance but have, so far, "formally" agreed with the USA for the time of full disclosure. Ultimately, ET's (which many feel exist and have been here) may end up giving NO ONE (including those claiming to be in the know) any choice in the matter of timing if these sightings continue to escalate over heavily populated areas.

arcaine87, will a government provide nuclear power for your personal use? No they won't since it's too dangerous. They can prevent you easily from circumventing this descision by restriction of fissible materials. In case of advanced technology this method fails, since even more amounts of energy can be released from non restrictable materials. Secrecy does the job here. Simply wait a couple of centuries upon completion of the ongoing disclosure process. No way to force a govt.
