Yes, Cuba is beautiful as are its people. However, I speak of natural beauty and cultural beauty. That said, let no one mistake the fact that the Cuban government is repressive, and immoral. Cuba has not progressed but regressed. The Cuba of the 1950's was a far more progressive and democratic country than the crumbling, decaying, backwards nation that we witness today. Wake up. What you read in the media, be it American or European is true. If it were not why do so many Cubans flee?

Cuba has the best healthcare system in latin american, lower infant mortality than the U.S. 100% literacy, 4.1 poverty index (lower than Mexico, Brazil,and Coloumbia)1.9% unemployment (less than a third of the U.S's)and 36% of parliment made up of women. stats from the U.N.And keep in mind, anyone who flees Cuba is garunteed a home in the United States. Regardless of crimes.This isnt generosity on behalf of the U.S, its little more than a propaganda machine.Most Cubans freely support revolution

If by freely support you mean, are intimidated into never speaking against the revolution, then you might be right about that. To this day Cuba also claims they have no political prisoners in their jails and fail to answer to numerous documented human right offences brought against them by Amnesty International and the UN.

Cuba is not the evil country that the american gouvernment has made it out to be.yes the island is run by an iron fist communist government but the people have no control over that.castro has been in power since before a lot of the population was born so most cubans are not communist,they have no say in their countrys gouverment.Cuba is beautiful with a beautiful and rich culture and wonderful people.If you ever have the chance I highly recommend you visit
