You're right: there is too much hate (and anger) in this world. People feel they are cheated and deprived of one thing or another, hence many are indignant when they feel justice (or some other fundamental belief) has failed or been corrupted.

Neverthless, I agree with the majority of the postings - Spector got his commepance. He was a talented musician and record producer, but his wealth merely fueled his demons, resulting in Clarkson's murder. He needs to be punished for this.

Phil Spector did indeed produce albums of some of the greatest artists/bands of all time, but still does not change the fact that he murdered someone just hours after meeting them. I once held a very high respect for Phil, but once I found out he actually murdered someone, I lost all respect for him.

Bullcur-Yes, Bonnie Lee Bakely was a lowlife. But that didn't mean she deserved to be shot in cold blood. There was circumstantial evidence but no direct evidence. There had to be some evidence to bring him to trial. Prosecutors said Blake told at least 4 men of his desire to kill his wife. Criminalist Steven Dowell testified there was gunshot residue on his hands & clothes. (Not necessarily from the murder weapon) He may have hired someone else to kill her. He was found guilty in civil court.
