  • I got my camera called OLYMPUS is MOV. (Quicktime) format.

A video has got no sound.

  • You are a very clever person I am going to have to take lessons to work out any video camera good footage Di(happydi)Australia

  • What video software do you use Cowboy?

  • The Kodak cameras I have record in a MOV. (Quicktime) format. I went on line and bought Alive Video converter.

(You'll have to Google it. YT doesn't allow links in the comments. For me anyway.)

I convert that file to WMV so I can edit it on Window Movie Maker. Then save it to my computer @ 1.5Mbps. That will give you the HQ. Then upload it to You Tube.

    The converter works pretty well.

  • Cool camera cover....does it seem to be relatively weather proof?

  • I would think so. Light rain would be OK. Anything after that, don't think so.

  • Well, ya done good...most creative and minimal carbon footprint (don't say it.)

  • I won't. ( But I thought it REALLY loud.)

  • Looks good SC! Looks like a great multi-use mount there.

  • Thanks man. Going to another test with the zoom here shortly.

  • Looks good! Now you can vid all them sport bikes

trying to catch up to you at DG ;->

Re: TItans J-E-T-S.. JETS, JETS, JETS!

  • Thanks man. Oh, a Jets fan. Oh well, everybody needed a charity.LOL j/k

Like the Jets better than the Ravens.

  • Joe Willey made me a Jets fan and if I ever meet him I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind :->

  • Did you make the cover for the cam?

  • I used an old metal hinged eye glass case. Use a hole saw you use to bore out a hole for a door knob. Cut the clear plastic off an old CD case. Cut to fit the hole and hot glued to the metal case.

    Ta Da!

  • PERFECT!

  • Thank you sir.

  • No probs m8 this is much better =)

  • Thanks again for the heads up.

  • Love you PGR do rag, got to get me one.

Had PGR patch put on vest today, and just volunteered to stand flag line for a local school Memorial Day service next Wednesday.

Camera looks good on this setup.

  • Thanks buddy

  • SC, you look like you have lost some weight. I know you said you had been on a diet and have lost some but it does show! Congrats.

Yea the video is much better. You might think about a piece of rubber between the flat washers to keep out rain and to dampen vibrations.

  • Thanks buddy. Maybe a couple of rubber O rings would do the job. DP had a good point about the flag on the antenna. It may be too much stress on the top box lid. May re-think that one.

  • Yea I was thinking those rubber rings that you put in a water hose.....pretty cheap too.

  • Thanks to you, I did that! Great idea. Thanks.

  • Well, that was a big improvement !

I don't know how you have that mounting bracket attached to the top box, but I'm wondering if the flapping of the flag (when the camera is not in use) might eventually loosen it, or possibly even crack the lid. Might be better to just use the antenna (which would still look ok) without the flag?

  • I drilled a 1/4" hole in the top. Used lock washers on the bolts and a big flat washer under and on top of the bolt. I thought about that. It has a spring on the mast but you maybe right. Alot of drag on the flag itself. I guess I have a couple of options.

    1. Don't have the flag.

    2. Put a bigger plate under the top of the top box to handle the stress of the flag.

    Good question.

  • Miles better than your last setup. The sound is really nice too. I think even one flag might get annoying at the Gap though, especially when leaning into some of those turns.

  • Don't worry. I won't run the flags if I vlog from the rear.

  • Thanks.

  • looks really good!are you thinking of going to deals gap?

  • YES! Depending on if I still have a job,

( Contract is up in July)

and of course the money and the time off, I really want to go this year.

  • Well i live like 45 min away from there so if you want let me know when u go cause me and my friend have been talking about riding the tail of the dragon this summer and it would be cool to meet up with you and ride

  • I'll PM you.

  • How creative! A glasses case holder.... I would have never thought of that.

  • Thanks. I fooled around with it last year and got some good results. Check out my video page and see what you think.

  • Amazing!! I love the innovation!! NASA could use you! ;-D

  • NASA, I don't think so. Mattel maybe. LOL

    Thanks anyway.
