Dont like greenday :P. Actually Ive took the pickguard off and it looks much better without it. I use that bass for rock n roll or heavier stuff, but my band does not play that kind of music so I use also a Fender Jazz. Only for Dio tributes y use Squier P bass, wich has a great tone, considering its Squier.
Cause it sounds good, you dont need to like a band to buy an istrument that says it belongs to X or Y musician, thats for marketing purposes only.
