  • Margaret Klenck was great as Edwina. The show was chock-full of female talent at that time: Lillian Hayman, Jacquie Courtney, Judith Light, Brynn Thayer, Sally Gracie, Robin Strasser... too bad they couldn't have held onto Doris Belack (Anna Craig) and Jill Voigt (the original Rebecca Lee).

  • @LOLOLUTHER I agree with you - I have heard it said that up until this time ONE LIFE was known for having some of the strongest performers and some of the loveliest ladies in daytime. I don't know if Shelly Birch (Delila) had entered the story yet, but I am sure she created an increase in male viewership.

  • Wearing those jackets drives me a little crazy for some reason - it's like everyone is in Grease.

Edwina seems like a very odd character, and probably would have only fit into OLTL at this time (along with Marco and Karen).

  • @CarlD2 If you think about it, Edwina is just the precursor to the character of Blair Cramer. I honestly think Margaret Klenck could have stuck around, I always thought she was a compelling character. Would be interesting to know what Rauch was thinking when he started trimming the cast and shifting direction on the Lords and the Buchanans.
