  • hehehe lol,,its haba haba huzaja kibaba,a swahili proverb.and not haba haba pousta sta kumata.meaning little by little fills it up.

  • @nyaboke1 "poutsa sta kumata", or "πούτσα στα κύματα" means in greek "dick in the waves", that's why he wrote that.. u can't understand it if u aren't greek :)

  • Kjære Norge:Hvorfor i H...... sendte dere denne elendige sangeren og låten videre?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • white is lack of color, let nothing cheat you that you are more superior Stella is a f*kn legend.

  • stupid people..are everywhere..grow the fuck up.

  • Ok..fuck anyone who decides that Americans are suddenly the only fucking people on the planet with capacity for evil... Europe has nothing but a history of Racism, slavery and bloodshed..we are nothing but an evolution of what Europeans used to be. stop acting all High and mighty because you live in a country other than america. you arent perfect and certainly not any better than anybody else..why cant you just fucking appreciate that there are a few americans out there who enjoy this music?

  • @awood8964 Agree, every race in the world has been enslaved and enslaver at least once in their history. Any human individual is capable of malice, hate, and cruelty, its an unfortunate trait that transgress the borders of race, nationality, or creed. But I like to think there is universal humanity and good conscience in other people as well to keep the trolls at bay.

  • Norway with a song like this? Blew my mind litteraly :)

  • @hotpinkcroathottie02 Your brain seems to have not left the kindergarden as you are calling people you dont know over the net things which makes NO SENSE. It is my Birthday today THUS I WILL NOT WASTE ENERGY NOR TIME ON YOUR USELESS RETARDED BRAIN. So FUCK OFF

  • Vi älskar er ändå, men för i fan skicka Secret Garden eller något liknande nästa gång. Detta är bortom all nordisk värdighet. Död åt multikulturen.

  • Someone needs to send the immigrant back, this is disgraceful!

  • To all you morons in here who find the need and energy to discuss whether Stella is "Norwegian or not according to you" - WHO THE FUCK CARES? You are not the Norwegian Authority to decide who can bE Norwegian or not - fucking stupid and ignorant are you for sure. And to the LOOSERS IN USA, YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN SPEAK, the WORST IMMIGRANTS IN THE WORLD WHO SLAUGHTER AND TAKE OVER A WHOLE CONTINENT FUCKING BARBIARIANS.

  • @dltsg And yet you speak our language and use our technologies, typical chimp.

  • TA..... kalka jezykowa na waka waka i jest haba haba.... ŻAL

  • OMG americans and their hatefull comments. go away morons.

  • and this may come as shocking to you, but not all of us are rude. I believe we are all together, living on this Earth. But I apologize. I'm sorry I can't be part of your "smart and sensible european group." I'm bullied in NY for being an "America Hater", even by my own grandmother. So in a way I agree with you. Can't wait until I turn eighteen and can come to Europe for a visit.

  • I love how you all stereotype Americans. It hurts me to know that all of you think we are all the same. The country itself is pretty awful when it comes to international affairs. They think they're the only country in the world, and never really seem to appreciate the little things in life. Shallow and rich. But not every american is like that. some americans are tired of being stereotyped, and just want to feel like they belong. We are not all idiots....

  • @VitalRegionsPlz Thank you! :)

  • @VitalRegionsPlz Finally, Truth!!! Plus, I even think some Americans have stereotyped people from other countries as being prejudice against them. I think we should stop this kind of thing both ways.

  • @VitalRegionsPlz We know that. It's just difficult to remember sometimes when your government is the one representing you.

For example: If Ontario in Canada legalized slavery, people wouldn't think "Hey, check out what a few douchebags in Ontario's government did!" They'd think "Hey, check out what Canada did. What's wrong with them?"

It's not your fault, nor is it really ours.

  • @TheNationofPwnage TROLLENE vil bli ødelagt!!! INGEN NÅDE FOR DEG!!

  • cute song i get happy when i hear it but i dont understand 1:53... haba haba hushate hakibaba...? lol but its a cute song anyways :D

  • Hey my European friends, don't pay any mind to these American people insulting you. I know exactly how they are, since I too live in the United States so I know them better than anyone else. They are racist, baised, they think the world revolves around them and they think they are better than the rest of the world. And that is far from being true. Spiritually, the United States has the worst people in the world. I love you Stella and everyone from the other side of the world. Keep High Spirits!!

  • HABA HABA STELLA HABA HABA AND YOU'LL BE ABLE WIN!ELDAR CAUSE I ADORE YOU YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

  • I Love This song !!!!!

  • Haba =arm biceps in finnish :D

  • i love you :D

  • Fuck diversity, I hope next year we send a native Norwegian. Why do we keep sending immigrants to represent our country instead of our own people? Are we that bad?

  • @TrollAnnihilator you cant sing as good as this- deal with it.

  • haba haba poutcha saki baba

  • exactly what does exactly what does "haba haba hujaza kibaba" mean?

  • That's what we always said to the dogs in the backyard haba-haba and they jumped on us like crazy:D

  • haba haba poutsa sta kumata

  • @chriskoutsakis955 ahahahahahah!!!!!1 XDXDXD

  • @CatholicKnight428 lol ok this is true...but remember..we are a very young country..i mean, look at history..this is something that all young countries do..not saying its right..but, we all do it. lol. i mean..when we were young our parents were always wrong and we were always right..and we always knew best. think of the U.S. in its pre pubescent stage XD im confident that something will give eventually

  • @CatholicKnight428 , though you are right, but only half right. it is a corporate society in america...but do not kiss ass to Europeans..they are no better than we are..they all have done their fair share of slavery, racisim, white mentality and hatred...its just people in general.

  • @CatholicKnight428 , I really don't know what world you are living in, but let me clue you in...there is hatred in all parts of the world! and based on several new reviews over the past 5 years, the worlds view of the U.S. is way more positive than before.. the whites have been far outnumbered these days, and year after year, things change. slowly but surely. American Music HAS talent. it just may not seem so to one who's unwilling to appreciate music in ALL of its froms it's art not a commodity

  • haba haba πούτσα στα κύματα

  • Awsome. Born this way and Waka waka, two of my fav sonfs wrapped into one!

    o.O

Old sound, not refreshing at all, and a bad singer. Only my opinion. Is like three sentences in this song in total. No imagination.

  • the song would never win europ vision...

  • -aaaand because her voice doesn't sound all that x)

  • She didn't win because this isn't a winner song at all. -__-

  • I wish I voted. Why didn't she win?

  • @euanm00re

Racism, bad song and the sound was messed up when she performed. I guess a little mix of all those.

  • nice autotune

  • haba muchassakibaba

  • wodda

  • waka waka

  • @bigotmaster Yep I have lived in 32 countries. Ever heard of a missionary? My grandma was the best woman on earth... go ahead and destroy me but you're being reported for attacking me. Thanks.

  • @bigotmaster I am American and have lived in Kenya for years! It's an amazing country. Just because you see starving people on TV doesn't mean it's all that way. First get educated, second go travelling and see what you are missing THEN you can make a judgment. Africa is AMAZING! Just like Stella!

  • @NorgexDanmark Actually, Alexander Rybak's mom is Belarussian. His Dad is Norwegian, he was just born in Belarus. :>

    But I 1000% agree!

  • Comment removed

  • @NorgexDanmark : I completely agree with you, but I don't think Rybak (or Stella for that matter) is any less Norwegian just because he was born in Belarus. Of course I have no knowledge on how he feels about his own nationality.

  • Jellymuch?

  • I lived in Kenya and Uganda and was in a talent contest there. I am American but I was in a Ugandan band. It doesn't matter what color your skin is, what language you speak or what your passport says your nationality is. As the old saying goes Home is where the heart is. I love love love this song! It's funny how she is getting attacked for talking about her amazing Grandma. She must have met mine because she was the most amazing lady on the planet! Grandmas are God's gift to the world!

  • @MJForeverKOP

You really don't get how the world really works... LOL

  • @EHVMichael Why not? I've lived in 32 countries around the world. She's amazing! Just because I'm not condemning her for using Swhaili or not doing her song in Norwegian, I don't know how the world works? We are all equal no matter where we come from. Sorry Stella for these fools. You're amazing! Keep singing rafiki!

  • ;-D omg, ! hatar livet . hatar låteeeen . - ,

  • louser louser louse louser louser

  • @mogim98 Oh please, by than we're already so advanced that your nations are way behind us once again, the industrial revolution still has to kick in and most of them are still living in tribes. And if we stop donating than its byebye Africa. Payback-time you say? we're the only ones keeping them alive you blatant fool, its the modern paradox, pure irony I call it.

  • @NorgexDanmark

Actually, Alexander is Norwegian. The nationality rule* was still in place on Melodi Grand Prix when Alexander entered and won, so he has to be Norwegian. He WAS Belarusian once, but he became Norwegian ages ago.

*The nationality rule meant that you had to be Norwegian to enter Melodi Grand Prix. It was introduced in 2008 after NRK got fed up with Swedish songwriters entering their songs.

  • Happy Birthday Stella!!! Today she become 25 years old.

Its just unfair that she didn´t reach the final this year!!! Best wishes for next year from your friends in Germany

  • @mogim98 It would come as a surprise really, not a single African country managed to create some sort of society civilization or organisation. They failed to do it now, and they weren't able to do so in ancient history. The only successful cities/ countries are former colonies!

I guess not every race is blessed with the gift of creating culture and civilization.

  • @ThexNaaru Egypt? :p

  • @pcsmush That is still subject to discussion really, we will never know that for sure but I highly doubt they did :p

  • @ThexNaaru Wait, you don't think the Ancient Egyptians were revolutionary people for their time? :p

  • Stella was born in Kenya and moved to Norway 5 years after her birth. Her identity has an understandably strong African influence.

I'm an American whose mother was Norwegian born in Haugesund and her parents born in Stavanger and Oslo. This event strikes me as being like me moving to Japan when I was 5 and 20 years later winning an "AsiaVision" contest representing Japan singing a Billy Joel song.

The Japanese would have a problem with that. I can understand Norwegians feeling the same way.

  • I don't think that she can sing...good. My opinion...

  • @NorgexDanmark its a different because she has african melody and a little Swahili. It docent have anything with norway to do. But yet its awesome!

Alexander was little norwagien with his violin i think thats why he won o.o

  • her grandmother was lying!

  • i'm from NORWAY and i like it! and i also like Azerbaijan, Romania, France and Ireland!!!!!!

  • Dette er ikke en beste sangen Norge har deltatt med i MGP!

  • @OushGisher I think you should do a little more research before you openly insult another person's country..."america" is too general first off, if you are referring to "north america" particularly the United States, then maybe you should come here and experience it for yourself. we DO have a culture and history and values...we just have alot of diversity as well..which influence our cultural behaviors. AND, I always loved europe..its very sad to see when someone else is hateful.

  • @awood8964 I know exactly what you mean. Honestly, Americans are the worst people in the world. They really are very very hateful and depressing people. Trust me, I live with them, unfortunately. Although I've never been to Europe, I can bet that you people are way more mature and respectul than Americans. Keep High Spirits My Friends!! :)

  • @NorgexDanmark Because Belarusian culture and Norwegian culture still aren't entirely different as is Norwegian and Kenyan. Plus, you don't go REPRESENTING a certain culture by music which mostly deals with being who you are despite your race... singing in friggin' Swahili... and having music that in no way sounds Norwegian. Norway isn't America. It actually has a culture of it's own, and when someone tries representing it with an entirely different culture that's just annoying.

  • okay, you Norwegians should chill she is not ethnically Norwegian we get that, you have no right to judge her by her skin color and ethnicity! "we all are equal" what happened to that? Alexander Rybak was not ethnically Norwegian, but he did'nt get as much crap as Stella got. Is that just because his skin color is white and Stella's is black? That's so not right.....

/ A 15 year old girl from Sweden

    / A 15year old girl from Sweden!

  • ANDERS BREIVIK COME AND SEE THIS!COME AND SEE WHAT YOUR COUNTRY IS TURNING AT!

  • @NorgexDanmark a black person singing in english with british accept making a very african looking song...THAT'S SO NORWEGIAN!It truly represents Norway!!!!Are you crazy? She has NOTHING,ZERO to do with Norway, norwegian culture or norwegian racial heritage,it's a blasphamy from multicultural elites to our peoples,it's an atack on our identities, than people get surprised that some people get totally crazy with things like this like Anders breijik did, this is simply DISGOSTING,IMORAL,GENOCIDAL.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! :)

  • She's clearly not ethnically Norwegian is all those people are saying, not that her nationality is not Norwegian.

  • @GoldenstarThunder5 yes she is norwegian, inmigration will make us to change

  • If the USA could give Points it would! I am Blaring this song loud out of my car! The City of Chicago is going to know your name! GO STELLA!!! :D

  • @NorgexDanmark when they are white they don't say nothing,i heard 1000 times that eric is half palestinian, but danny saucedo is bolvian and polish...but he's swedish for everyone

  • I saw her performing this live last week :D

  • I like it! It's like a new version of ''waka waka'' i'm so sorry that norway didn't come to the final. But i have only time for Eric Saade <3 _ <3 i'm swedish like him and i LOVE HIM! <3<3<3<3<3<3

  • Awh i likey it :) Haba haba sounds like shakiras waka waka but doesnt matter i like still!

  • Nice songg :)) i like this song :) Kenyan looks prettty language :)

  • This makes me happy :)

  • holy trolls fight down there...

  • my frist impression of this song was, it sounds like a boogie trying to sing.

  • This girl has no talent! She sucks ass!! By the way, how did an African win the right to represent Norway?? I mean if this no talent, no musical voice person is the best immigrant in Norway, why didn't a real Norwegian try out for this singing contest??

  • @JRF1961 The people of Norway voted for her.

  • @JRF1961 How..bla bla.. win the right? A: Same way a guy with German blood (which btw doesn't make you MORE white... just look at Hitler's skintone and his lovely very dark brown hair) won the right to call himself, American. Or same way that an American got to represent UK in 1997.... But was IS weird - is why an American would come in and ask stupid questions about this song contest, which he clearly knows nothing about... No, hang on... that's not weird!

  • @carlt1homas Typical response from a drug addicted white euro-trash fool!!! This girl has no talent, can't sing and if an American represented the UK or any other eurotrash country in any singing contest it is because they don't have the talent to compete in any USA singing contest. Go back to your opium pipe and so you can believe in your drug induced haze that this girl is talented.

  • @JRF1961 "Response"?? I actually answered your question. And on which line did you read that I called her, talented? That's not what you asked about. I only wrote 6 lines, so it should have been impossible for you to misread or misunderstand anything. The fact that I included irony & sarcasm several places, I didn't think would matter... cos you can't see it! Difficult for you to keep track of which topic being dealt with? Anyway, since any kind of concept seems to have deluted you.. The End!

  • @carlt1homas Bla Bla Bla from a young inbred White Euro Trash Fool!! My issue was with her talent (she has none). Hitler and his concept of 'Aryanism' was not my topic it was yours which is why I ignored it. But fine, lets see, Danmark a nation of sister fucking white euro trash pussies has not contributed anything of value to humanity other than a low birth rate and continuing to find ways of how not to work and contribute to society. Just stick to your opium and fucking your sister! Adios!!

  • @JRF1961 If your issue was talent - then why did you bring in nationality to it? And your first question had to do with this - not talent (try to re-read your own lines before hitting "post"). Your 2nd question was the reason for me saying that you know nothing of the competition - or you wouldn't have asked such a silly question. And the concept of "Aryanism" was a reference to what you declared yourself on your channel (again, your own words) and your definition on what a real Norwegain is!

  • @JRF1961 what do you mean real norweigan, define what a norweigan is..- sen kan vi diskutera;)

  • God, it sucks

  • Norway for white, Kenya for colors!

Be racist if you know milk flows in your veins!

    Proudly Kenyan!

  • norwegians are only good at shooting teenagers and carbombing buildings

  • @johnnygamer2011

The lady is norwegian too? Or wait a minute..oh thats just horrible racist comment, are you saying that only whites can be norwegians? Thats horrible, altho in my eyes thats the way it is, BUT STILL, horrible. Raciiiiiiiiiiiiiist

  • @johnnygamer2011 And people like you are only good at showing no sympathy and being disrespectfull. Oh, how much I hate people like you. But I guess you're just a minor little twat with no aspect of taking the world seriously around themself.

With that attitude you won't make it long.

  • @TTunder Yuck, another norwegian murderer.

  • All my thoughts an all my compassion are with the Norwegian people and especially those families who are directly affected by the unbelievable and sick criminal acts that happened in Utoya and Oslo. .

  • Lovely Stella... congratulations from Albania! :D

  • Love norway... Lithuania <3

  • 0 points from Serbia!! hahaahah

  • am proud of you stella God keep you going. na utajaza ki baba simple as that. east afrincan from las vegas navada.

  • To the person under; Stella and Kenya is in so many ways the total opposite than your typical ola nordmann and Norway, It's not the same as comparing Rybak and Belarus to her and Norway.

  • @TheMeteorStrike No, he came to Norway when he was 4 y.o. Stella came when she was 5 y.o.

Were U as confussed with the Norweigan song (and singer) from 1999? And Guess you also can't compare the American president to anyone - cos he is not "typical"..... Also, going through the last 20-30 years.."Typical"? Have you seen any of the shows? Please check out France 1990&1991, Norway 1999&2007 (Ven A Bailar Conmigo), Sweden 2002, ESTONIA 2001 & the typical and traditional song from Ukraine 2007!

  • Meh. The over repetition of lyrics annoys me, but the message is good.

  • Consequences of global warming affected Norway, i guess...

  • @Phobophile665 Yeah... like it affected Serbia.... didn't a part of your country melt away...? Kosovic... or something... I think??

  • @carlt1homas You bothered clicking on my name just to see where i'm from so you could insult me that way? Pathetic. Come up with something better. Anyway, here's a lesson for you, dumb subhuman creature:

    1. That territory is called Kosovo, not Kosovic

    2. It's full of Albanians (over 95%), so they were nothing but the pain in the ass for our country. But they are no more. It's good that we let them go.

    3. Norway should have sent their own singer, like everyone else. Not this African bullcrap.

  • @Phobophile665 I used your own nasty comment and gave it back to you with interests. You completely missed the sarcasm and read it literarily. The fact that I used the ending "VIC" should have given you a clue that not only do I know about the history of Kosovo but also the language/spelling. And seems strange that you would comment on "clicking on to insult"... isn't that what you did to the singer of this song? The irony of it all - and yet you completely miss it all!

  • @Phobophile665 Fact it, I couldn't have come up with something better. And the word "subhuman" seems strange coming from a person who still haven't found the "ON" botton to the brain. And you "giving me a lesson" is equal to if I was to "give you a lesson" in what GLOBAL WARMING is. And yet you still don't get it.... Maybe look up the words in the dictionary: SARCASM, LITERARILY, IRONY and SUBHUMAN. The concept of "giving back with interest" could also be good for you to learn the meaning of.

  • @Phobophile665 Here is a little test for you: I think I can come up with something better... So, I dare your little brain to go and look at ESC France 1990.... the song came 2nd that year! And if that doesn't clash with or confuse your selfmade idea of the history, rules and tradition of EuroVISION (not to be confused with EuroPEAN), then jump straight to France 1991 (also 2nd place).... because that ought to do it and give you that heart attack, so we won't have to hear from you again...!

  • @carlt1homas Whoa, you are trying really hard bro....Trololololol

Anyway, instead of starting shitstorm like you did, i'll make this simple: Norway should have came up with a song that represents their culture, with elements of Norwegian folk music. Or, they should have sent a Norwegian guy/girl which sings pop/rock/ska/metal/punk, with no elements of traditional music. This is Eurovision, not Afrovision. Damn, ESC has really gone to hell....

  • @Phobophile665 Who has put these unwritten rules into your head? Throughout the history of Eurovision, changes have been a major part of the event. Even you subcontiously know this, cos otherwise you wouldn't have written that metal was "allowed" (since when would be nice to know). And this description you have of "the traditional and predictable" is actually what made the event decline in popularity at the end of the 80's.

  • @Phobophile665 France 1990 (wasn't kidding) started something exciting, and many countries followed that exsample in years to come; break of tradition. Also, this being a song contest, why is it then importaint where the singer is from? All 3 Norwegian victories included a singer not born in Norway - this would be a problem to you..why? based on what? Remember, you began the shitstorm, in true bully manner, with your nasty and ugly-hearted remark that didn't refer to music, but to skin coulor!

  • @carlt1homas Damn, you really mad. You are taking this shit waaaay too seriously. Like i said, it doesn't have to be a song with traditional elements, it can be almost every genre. My opinion is, that Norwegians should represent Norway, Finns Finland, Germans Germany, etc. An African girl representing Norway? WTF?! Imagine Russia sending a Turkish guy to Eurosong. Weird huh? So is this.

I ain't no racist btw, i have absolutely nothing against black people. I won't reply anymore, i'm done here.

  • @Phobophile665 Not more wierd than UK sending an American singer (1997) or Australian singer (1996). And what did you think of Estonia 2001? Happy with that? And Denmark last year... was that wrong to you too? Luxembourg won with a singer from Greece... and the list goes on and on... you really know nothing of history.... Also, had this been a white girl from South Africa... would you have been in here spewing your "Global Warming" hate around? Don't think so..cos the "joke" then wouldn't "work"

  • @Phobophile665 Russia didn't send someone from Turkey but they did send a girl from Ukraine once - was that allowed according to your geographical/racial/religious sets of rules? Speaking of Turkey.... Germany did send someone from Turkey in 1999.... You better go in and let everyone know that you think it's weird.... Hurry!!!! Norway 1999: HURRY!! Denmark 2010: HURRRYYY!!!

Also, you have been avoiding answering any of my questions.... throughout... I can clearly see why that is!

  • @Phobophile665 Last question: You mention that the music style SKA is "allowed" according to you.... is that because you really liked the 2004 song from Turkey.... and tell me... where does SKA music come from?

  • sexy Serbia and Macedonia haah:)

  • haba haba POYTSA STA KYMMATA...!!! :-)

  • african music in norway :D :D

  • I like this song, I dont care is she black or white, she sings with heart! and she is very happy when she sings. Too shame that she didn't make it to the Eurovision. She is the BEST!

  • the problem is not that she is black the subject matter sounds too juvenile for any one to take it seriously. it's inspirational but the message seems aimed at little kids...

  • hi beautiful girl stella,it was very unfortunity for me not to reach you through abig cround in trondheim ground.u performed very well.see you back home.

  • this year has been a good lesson to norway. So that, next time they act like themselves

  • @AlphaRadeon cunt belongs to ireland and britain give it back you cunt ;) dino merlin and sjonni's friends all the way :D

  • great music... lyrics has to be better....

  • ARMENIA NORWAY THE BEST FUCK U ESC

  • Omg damn true O.O Born this way and Waka Waka O___O

  • I kind of liked her song, but the dress was just awful. The refrain is really catchy.
