i just bought this scanner.. it's a challenge.. I programmed all the frequencies but cant get them to pick up?? Only can get the Medical feilds to pick up .. not police.. any ideas?
@TheDenver12311 program the scanner then press the hold button the the frequency you want to listen to and it will stay on the particular frequency you want to listen to =D
I have this scanner i joined my local fire company as a junior Firefighter this past july and carried this same scanner and used it to be alerted for calls. i now carry a Minitor IV but still use this type of scanner it is great and wouldnt choose any other so if anyone is looking at buying a scanner to carry with them this is a very good one to buy
I have the same scanner and I love that thing. For the first time yesterday I picked up MedFlight on mine after a wreck. I got a Diamond RH77CA antenna to replace the rubber duck antenna and I can hear a LOT more with that antenna and would HIGHLY recomend it to anyone.

Picked one up today for $35 in mint condition. As a ham operator, I can monitor all VHF/UHF frequencies I'm permitted to transmit.l
