  • Hi i was wondering how u interface the wiimote in controlliing the arm. I have a teensy development board and want to use it communicate with the lcpxpresso lpc 1769. I have a bluetooth adapter(dongle) and want to use the wiimote in controlling a robotic arm but have difficulties with communicating the teensy and lpcxpresso. Do u have any ideas will appreciate it thanks

  • nice work dude

  • Awesome! I'm working on something similar

  • is this how boats turn? Slowing down a side and turn

  • Awsome, let's see playstation move try to do that, obviously not since the move doesn't have a nunchuk :P

  • i want to learn how to do things like this but i will probably end up destorys every electronic device in my house XD

  • ... but, You before me! Good job!

  • You use LEGO, I use Sony... :-)

  • COOL! Is there anything the Wiimote can't do?

  • wow! amazing!

  • very impressive

  • wow, dude you're a genius

  • did you use c lang?

  • slow connection... always need to repeat...*yawn*

  • sweet make it wireless ^_^

  • i can't say anything more than...

    SICK DUDE YOU ROCK!

  • cool

  • fake?

  • ....no.

  • of cource not!

  • That's rad!

  • AWSOME

    AWSOME IT IS

  • Very cool! How did you implement pan+tilt+left wheels+right wheels=4 motors? I thought that the rcx has only 3 outputs...

  • Check out my channel. I have a completely wireless robot, however, it does not use a Wii Remote. I am negotiating with Cypress Semiconductors about acquiring a bluetooth module. I hope to make it balance next.

  • what if someone steps on it. thats alot if scattered legos.

  • holy shit, your good! That is one crazy setup!

  • Rofl, an ingenius invention. Well done XD

  • Cool, but seems like a lot of work to use the Wiimote. Seems like a 360 or PS3 controller would be easier to use.

  • あんたスゴスギッ!!!

  • wow thats so awesome...if you marketed that I'd buy one! (cost not an issue lol)

  • *sighs* LEGO - is there anything it can't do?

  • cant think of anything right now lol :P

  • The only thing you have to do next, is making a wireless receiver for the robot and for the camera. Nice thing you made!!

  • Holy crap!

I have both of those chairs in the background!

  • I own 1 X3

  • I know I bought it but the controller is wireless powered by bluetooth and the hummer was like $400 in canadian and god it was worth it and I already lost the remote that controls the hummer but doesn't matter because the wii remote is the same thing but instead of taking 2 watch batteries it takes 2 AA batteries

  • I have a R/C Hummer that's not lego and it's has a controller but it takes those stupid 4V batteries like a watch battery but it's so cool because the wii remote and with the numchuk like yours controlles same way but it doesn't need a comp it already has bluetooth already built in so I connect and boom up and running

  • difference is- you didnot make yours

  • wow u sure hav a lot of time on ur hands lol this is relly cool

  • goodwork

    very awesome

  • this guy got to much time

  • Pretty damn neat.

  • awesome

  • great work

  • thats rely kool...u must be like really smart

  • it slow but its cool make me one

  • That is awesome. You know in the military they use XBox 360 controllers to control actual robots they use in the field.

  • Wow, that's most impressive. Great work! I heard you say "Took too many hours to do", I can't remember the exact quote, but it looks like it was worth it.

  • thats cool but you're the most boring person alive

  • yeah, I wasn't too exciting... but it was 3am and my roommates were asleep in the other room so I had to speak quietly. Had to take it apart the next day for another assignment too so thats all I could get away with.

  • Yeah. put a camera on it.. you can see and hear everything :P.. Very cool:D

  • Hey guys, thanks for positive feedback on our robot. We did indeed put a camera on it, that was part of the urban search and rescue project. Getting a low center of gravity was one of the toughest parts, as well as bitpacking the signal from the wii controllers to decrease latency.

  • that looks very difficult to drive

  • That's pretty goddam awesome.

  • that is cool but u need to find a way to make it compleatly wireless

  • good job

  • This is very cool:P

    Put a Camera on it!

  • you're a fucking idiot.

  • he loves his mom :P lmao

  • it would be really nice if Youtube could find a way to screen out these idiotic spam messages.

  • i wonder if his mom is still alive...

  • ok ill take this as a try and u achieved but weird vid
