  • SUP

  • great cooking.the best egg biryani recepy ever.thank you.

  • it came both in the same time, in the egg has chicken's embryo, egg shell protects embryo outside, so this is the ultimate truth of this question.

  • Thanks for this recipe. We tried it out and it came out really well, though few of the ingredients were missing.

  • I've tried this recipe and it came out disgusting. I should not add mint leaves, due to mint I couldnt get rid of bitter flavor. So do not add mint, its not going to help your biryani. I've made effort, but spoilt everything

  • guys EGG is Veg or Non-veg???

i had a debate on this topic for a long time with my friends and it turned into fight... as i was stucked saying egg is veg lolzz...

what u ppl say if u do have any info on this topic, EGG VEG OR NON-VEG?

  • @luckystar8247 is it breathing b4 u cook it? If its not, then its veg.

  • Awesome chef .. my wife almost learned how to cook , She does khan biryani the best , Thanks to the chef ...

  • This guy is like a boon to all the students who come to the US to study lol. We've learnt a lot of dishes from you ch(i)ef. And too many cooks do not spoil the broth (or do they?)

  • Can you incorporate egg with lamb biryani? :)

  • @SengKiat93 Lambs do not lay eggs.

  • 5'11 my ass. He looks like he's 5'7 or at most 5'8

  • I pledge that im going to help my lovely wife in cooking and in all other matters:D:D ummmmmmmmmmuah!

  • hey Sanjay. What kind of Biryani powder do you use in this egg biryani.

  • thannx sanjay,

only because of u i can able to cook today

    god bless you!!!!!!!!!

  • Hiii... Can you please tell me which Biryani masala u hav used...!! I tired it yesterday but it tasted so bad... may be bcz of biryani masala...!!

  • Chicken came from dinosaur. Dinos used to lay eggs. So, egg came first

  • I'm very very jealous of U man.... You are a Honour to the World of cooking...

  • Great show, J!

  • Chef! what kind of Biryani powder did you use? You did not mention?

  • chicken came first coz god does not lay eggs.2) eggs r not vegetarian if they were they would have grown on trees .

  • @drdukeful hey!!! eggs r cd vegetarian it implies to thos tht r not fertilised.. like the white eggs...(v dont find blood layer in egg membrane) not the brown eggs..(u would see a thin layer of blood in egg menbrane)which r fertilised and so non-veg...

  • @rhythmurs13 dude i just commented ....this is an ever ending debate.milk, cheese ,butter, sugar, bone china the list goes on these all r animal products ,but only eggs r not eaten by a pure vegetarian.thumbs upif u agree.

  • @drdukeful im born pure vegetarian...but i eat eggs now becoz i knw its not non-veg...jus tried to clarify wht u said was wrong... ...becoz im a food science student...

  • @rhythmurs13 good to know u r a food science student.....but tell me the hen has to lay an egg when she is mature but if u don't let the cock near to fertilize the egg that means, it becomes vegetarian. that is bisuness of the farm owner other wise why should the hen produce eggs .now the broiler chicken does not produce eggs and if not eaten they die at a very early age ,does it makes it vegetarian.ever seen an apple comming out of a butthole . And I am a an Mch in Gastroenterology surgery

  • @drdukeful hehehe agree with you 100%, how can eggs be vegetarian, that word come from the word vegetable and any animal product is never vegetarian .......

  • @drdukeful thts great!!! but i think u r confused between VEGAN and VEGETARIAN. thnk u...

  • @drdukeful

"eggs are not vegetarian because if they were, they would grow on trees"

So is butter or milk vegetarian? That comes from an animal's body, just like eggs.

In my opinion, if it's not alive when I eat it and I didn't cause an animal to die, then it's vegetarian and i'll eat it. Eggs were not alive when they were laid. But when it is fertilised and is a chicken, it's an animal and I won't eat it.

Maybe you meant to say that eggs are not vegetables. But then, so aren't mushrooms.

  • @thangacchi fyi hens can lay eggs without a rooster, so the will not be fertilized into a chick

  • @madhuigate

    I know.

  • There are 2 kinds of vegetarians.

Lacto-ovo- vegetarians --- those who take milk products AND eggs.

Lacto vegetarians ---------- those who take milk products and don't eat eggs.

Even scientists can't figure out if eggs are vegetarian since it isn't alive anyway. That's why you can pick which side you're on. Quit arguing and just enjoy the damn recipe.

  • @drdukeful he said unfertilized eggs. milk comes from animals, and are considered vegetarian. but if you mean vegan by vegetarian then yes they don't grow on trees, and are not vegan.

  • @drdukeful 1) how do you know god did not make the egg?

    2) is milk non vegetarian too?

  • believe me! you're the best! Food's not over rated! You make it so simple and easy for us amateurs to cook with ingredients in the pantry! Thanks a ton! You Rock!!!

  • @arvindan1983 I once got chicken in my Veg Biryani

  • @arvindan1983

The Bible says that everything was made from it's own kind. So, going by that, the chicken came first.

  • @ChrizCee012

Another stupid Jesus freak.. My comment was meant as a joke and you bring your silly god debate into a cookery show.

Does your bible has everything? Does it have the recipe to make a biriyani?

  • @arvindan1983 lol

  • ChrizCee@arvindan1983

The Bible says that everything was made from it's own kind. So, going by that, the chicken came first.
