@lounceb Most people reporting to HAAF will inprocess at Stewart for about a week and then they will be assigned to there unit at HAAF. You will stay in lodging on Stewart and if none is available you will stay in a approved hotel. Improcessing is just what it sounds like lots of paperwork , medical, finance stuff and briefings plus morning PT. Visit my Army Wife site for more info . @dreswifey25 Lol, I did heard you mention you was in Hawaii after the video finished. I was asking if you like HAAF. My husband from Augusta, GA and we want to be closer to home. I from Louisiana and we at Ft Lewis, WA now. DO they deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan? I heard that they only do humanitarian mission (like aiding in Haiti now). Are the schools good? I was looking at buying a house in Port Wentworth. Do you know anything about Port Wentworth? Thanks alot!!!
@prettyyoungladyHey there oh ok gotcha. I loved living at HAAF and in Savannah. Sorry but they do deploy my husband was deployed while we were at HAAF from 2007-2008 and my neighbor who still lives there hubby is deployed again in Afghanistan. All of these deployments were to the Middle East. Port Wentworth is a nice area but to far to drive every morning. Schools are offpost but right outside the gate and although GA ranks low for schools, it wasnt to bad.
