be calm with the birds and they will get tame very quickly. Don't go grabbing them put your finger near them, they'll lose their fear and will come to you without you having to grab at them. You won't ever need to clip their wings then. It's a respect thing, you respect your birds, they respect you and life with them is much happier and less stressful. No WING CLIPPING IS NEEDED. I have 4 none get their wings clipped because i don't give them a reason to fear me. Try it and you'll see a change:)

Gloves are not good to use when handleing a bird, Any kind for that matter. Wing clipping is best done in a small quiet room, with the owner alone. use a towl if the bird is nippy.ALWAYS BE GENTAL
My sister's boyfriend tried something like this a while back. He's now blind. Both her budgies pecked his eyes out! Serves him right. My sister also dumped him soon afterwards. She didn't want to be stuck with a blind guy.
That's nothing! I knew a guy who knew a guy who tried this, and the budgie sent out an SOS, and all kinds of wild birds flew into the house and carried him away up to the sun AND THEY LEFT HIM THERE!!!
