@SyScript the .44Mag is a little more practical, but the DE .50AE is just pointless imo. theyre over $1000 just for the gun, mags run up to $40 and each shot is worth like $4.00. even as a fun gun its too expensive to shoot

@prandomable no pooper, you need a .44 slide and barrel to fire a .44 magnum bullet and a .50 action express slide and barrel to fire a .50 ae! you can't fire a bullet that isn't fitted for a barrel or bad things will happen.

I was pretty positive that is was satin nickel myself (I ordered it that way), but I dug around the closet to find the old case it came in and the description on the box just says nickel. But Im going to go ahead and say satin nickel anyway as plain nickel would much shinier.

@Imuplate naw its just nickle plated. satin nickle has a very dark red tone in it, this is more of a silver/bronze mix hope it helps ;D

No. I've considered it but can't decide if it's cost effective enough to justify the extra effort. For the moment I've been loading Magtech 200 Gr. SCHP. These seem to cycle pretty reliably through the Eagle, which can be fussy about the ammo it shoots.

@Imuplate for a .44 i am not sure, but on a .50AE it comes around to $1.50 a round or $60 some for a box of 20 (Canadian here) and its around $0.35 or so per round to make your own. so i think it would save you a little. who knows. ;D
