Yeah, I made the voting situation a bit confusing this time. Winner gets a do-over in the final episode, runner up gets to assist. Technically, the WFP each week is always the loser - he gets voted off. In this case the guy voted off leaves the winner remaining - the guy most worthy of a second chance.

Although Abraham didn't actually do the deed, Lot didn't have murderous intent. Besides, having Abraham assist Lot in acheiving redemption has more comic possibilities. So, I vote for Abraham as worst filicidal patriarch.
Abraham got a do over already. In the Abe story that refers to God as YHWH, there is no sacrifice and Isaac grows up. In the Abe story that refers to God as Elohim, Abe goes up to do the sacrifice when a few redacted YHWH verses about the ram appear, but Abe comes down the mountain alone and Isaac never appears in the Elohim story again.
@bobsmeerfak How about Isaac in "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart clips for Isaac's voice? Clarence the Angel shows what the world would have been like if Abe had gone through with the sacrifice. Donna Reed's voice as Rachel who lives a life like Ezekiel 23.

But, along with his Nazi-esque devotion to chancellor yahweh, Abe sired the progeny responsible for the world's 2 most homicidal faiths-islam and judeo-xtianity. Thus, far more blood is upon his hands.

@KCKatheist I know. It's a tough choice. They left a lot of emotional and physical carnage in their wakes. It's hard to offer either of them a do-over. But in the true spirit of this series, we'll see if we can make humans out of them after all in the final telling...

Hmmm... I think I'd prefer to have Lot have the do-over, but on the other hand, at least with Abraham supposedly it was god himself saying to do the sacrifice, whereas Lot had no such gun to his head to offer up his daughters.
So... FINAL ANSWER -- Abraham wins, and lot should be the runner up.

Although Abraham didn't actually do the deed, Lot didn't have murderous intent. Besides, having Abraham assist Lot in acheiving redemption has more comic possibilities. So, I vote for Abraham as worst filicidal patriarch.

Abraham got a do over already. In the Abe story that refers to God as YHWH, there is no sacrifice and Isaac grows up. In the Abe story that refers to God as Elohim, Abe goes up to do the sacrifice when a few redacted YHWH verses about the ram appear, but Abe comes down the mountain alone and Isaac never appears in the Elohim story again.
I would like to see Lot's do over.
