fyi...mick jones is the only original member left. the band started in the 70's with 7 members the 1st 3 albums kicked ass, then jones fired 2 founding members over control of writing. then there were 5 members and foreigner 4 was the result..lou gramm stop singing due to a brain tumer. which affected his voice. since about 1986 jones and gramm were the only original members.so no he should not be able to use the name foreigner

OH COME ON GUYS! I heard Lou Gramm a couple of years ago. And it was horrible! Kelly's got so much talent and is the perfect frontman! Yes, they replaced the singer. But you know ACDC hasn't the original singer, Van Halen changed a few times over the years, Queen was on tour with Paul Rodgers. Stop discussing about original line ups. Look at all the famous bands around. Almost none of them is still in the original line up. Metallica, Guns N Roses, Rolling Stones, Foreigner, Journey and many more

I saw this entire concert filmed at the Arcada Theatre in Chicago last night, on the PBS channel LakeShoretv. It was great, I love Kelly's voice, it's high quality and doesn't take ANYTHING away from the original lead singer at all! Kelly's voice may even be better! He does the band good and I enjoyed it all...Brought back memories for me as a teen in the 70's, loved this band, still do....

The box set edition includes the full show "Live in Chicago" (which was electric, as you can see), and an electric CD with new rock version of lots of Foreigner hits. So there is a lot of material for all tastes, and it's new versions with Kelly on vocals released for the first time.

@lawmaker75 The incredible Mark Schulman!!! He was Foreigner's drummer in the 90's! Just came back right before this show!!! He was Pink's drummer -- you can see him on he "Funhouse Tour Live from Australia" -- lots of clips on youutbe; you can buy the dvd on Amazon :)

It's wrong to say, just because Lou's not in the band now there shouldn't be a Foreigner, get with the changes I say. I'd rather have them still rocking than there not being a band at all, and so would Mick I'm sure. Why should he retire, just because some fans can't get over Lou's not in it. It's a tight rocking unit these days too, long may they reign.

i think some people are DEAF. Kelly has a fabulous voice and he sings Foreigner songs pretty damn close as we know them or have known them in the 80s. Life changes people, illness takes the best of people, Lou is gone but never forgotten. KUDOS for Foreigner NOT giving up. They are doing what they LOVE; can you disbelievers say that? Don't think so ..

Lou Gramm is a Christan Rock and Roll artist today. Lou Gramm Band, he is on good terms with Foreigner and wants Kelly Hansen in the band. Please understand, if you wish to listen to Lou google him. He also quit the band due to his recovery from drugs and a brain tumor that almost killed him. He has no desire to return.

@laiosto It's not that he doesn't want to be in the band. He can't. The recovery treatment he was on for his brain tumor caused health problems and drastically affected his voice. He can't even hit the notes anymore...it's kind of sad. Still--this guy doesn't hold a CANDLE to Lou in his prime. Furthermore, who are these "others" you're talking about? There is ONE original member of Foreigner in this lineup, and he misses half of their tour dates due to health issues. No Lou Gramm=NOT Foreigner.

@earMUSICofficial hmm, that's not really fair to be quite honest. Gramm co-wrote many of Foreigners best tracks, but i understand what your saying. The simple truth of the matter, is that this guy on vocals (sorry dont know who he is) does a pretty damn good job, but you've got to understand people being nostalgic and how they (including me) would prefer to see Gramm (in his prime) singing this. He (Gramm) unfortunately didnt age so well compared to some of his rock comtemporaries. Sad...
