My brother in Christ is a non-denominational part Pentecostal Christian. Meaning he believes all religions are correct and that he believes in the powers of the Holy Spirit. Catholics DO NOT idolize or worship the Pope, in fact, the only ONE worthy of worship is GOD (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We DO say prayers to our Mother Mary and other Saints, these prayers are simply us asking them to PRAY FOR US (James 5:16).

My brother in Christ is a non-denominational part Pentecostal Christian. Meaning he believes all religions are correct and that he believes in the powers of the Holy Spirit. The Catholic Church IS Christianity. Catholicism was NOT created after Christ died, on the contrary, it was created BY CHRIST and recorded in Matthew 16:18. Catholics DO NOT idolize or worship the Pope, in fact, the only ONE worthy of worship is GOD (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We DO say prayers to our Mother Mary and other Saints, these prayers are simply us asking them to PRAY FOR US (James 5:16).

You say I should pray to Christ unto the Father, but you don't understand that by praying to Mother Mary (WHO IS NOT DEAD, BUT ALIVE IN HEAVEN, along with any other Saint that we pray to), we are asking them to pray for us to Christ unto the Father.
Do you not understand this? The Scriptures tell us to PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER, by going to Saints in Heaven, we are simply asking them to pray for us.
Our souls go to Heaven, Purgatory (then Heaven), or Hell IMMEDIATELY after death.

We Catholics know because Catholic bishops got together in the year of 325 AD at the First Counsel of Nicaea and discerned guided by the Holy Spirit which books would go into the Bible and which ones wouldn't go into the Bible. After they chose the Biblical Cannon they proclaimed it to be the Inspired Word of God. How do you know they chose the right books and how can you trust them if you're not Catholic?

Do you believe, for example, that God predestines others to Hell? The Catholic Church believes God predestines no one to Hell, and all people CAN get to Heaven. However, Calvinists believe God DOES damn people even AS THEY LIVE, even BEFORE THEY ARE BORN. Ergo, some people CANNOT get to Heaven and merit salvation.
