  • the question is will it blend?

  • I have to agree regarding the flask. Very disappointed. The current BPA-free bottles definitely retain smells and flavors. Even to the point of retaining morning breath if you drink out of one. They're basically water-only containers now. The older ones were better.

To get rid of smells or flavors, fill the bottle with a mix of water and baking soda. Toss it into the freezer overnight.

I love to support American businesses, but for a basically water-only container; they're overpriced.

  • Do these bottles have any BPA in them?

  • Thanks really cool.

  • I don't buy their odor claim. I've used nalgenes and they all have a weird odor. Maybe it's because I left it out in the sun, but when I leave my Kleen Kanteen out there's no smell. :\

  • @spartanprepper plastic ftl

  • If you have a bag that is Molly compatible or if you carry a Maxpedition you can always carry a 32 Nalgene

  • i am riding my bike across australia 3500mi. alone. with my 48oz nalgene.

  • I think it would be good if the 14 fit into the 32 so you could have water in the 14 , put it in the 32 then fill the remaining space with survival items , cutting downthe overall space used

  • i love how he starts yodeling at 2:21

  • @godbegone I still crack up at this comment every time his voice cracks.

  • good job

  • wonderful review of nalgene bottles! I just discovered Nalgene and have bought 3 of their water bottles this month :)

  • two litre coke bottle, my friends. two litre coke bottle

  • lol, I'm from Rochester, NY!

  • I would never buy another Nalgene water bottle unless the company woud buy back the bottles I bought from them that were made with BPA. KLEAN KANTEEN SS bottles for me from now on.

  • @Elondrow im pretty sure they said they would replace ur bpa bottles with bpa free ones, just contact them.

  • you know the old bottle on the right if it has a 7 on the bottom it has bpa in it.. which has been decalered as toxic by canada..

  • @haha48 No 7 means other, it is a fallacy that 7 automatically has bpa in it. It just means that it doesn't fall within categories 1 through 6. If you you had watched the video you would know that jackass.

  • @hpglow its the other catagorey.. but they did use bpa in some of the bottles ie older ones..

  • Great video!

Can you put the 32 oz bottle in de mess pocket of the deuter futura backpack?

  • Yup,

fits in either mesh pocket of my Deuter Futura 42.

  • the outer layer of the flask is made of the super tough polycarbonate plastic. The bottle itself is made of PETE, the same plastic to make bottled water. It is not durable and would not survive continual drops. They should have just made it out of tritan or polycarbonate. Hot water would ruin that plastic. Great review though, I have watched this a few times!

  • It says

    Made with TritanTM from Eastman

    right on there website.

  • *their

  • you sound like a really nice guy. great review!

  • Thanks for the review! I'm looking for a good water bottle that'll last me.

  • i worked in camping at sportsmans warehouse and we would chunk em off the roof

  • No, they used to be made of polycarbonate.
