@SEQUENCEEE It's kind of hard not to expect it, though. Mirrors in dark and "scary" games like Doom 3 are basically a sign that they're going to throw something at you right there, and placing a bunch of armor things on the ground in front of the mirror made it even more obvious. I was prepared for the good ol' "ghost/zombie in the mirror but not there when you turn around" jump scare when I went in, so this just made me laugh a little.

If you were actually playing the game the mirror thing would have startled you. You get used to monsters popping out, but the mirror thing is unexpected.

@RobertThe5 well, just the surprise of it, just imagine, you're playing a game where at any moment you can be jumped and attacked, you're tense, you go into a random bathroom, one of many you probably walk into without anything much happening, then you walk too close to the mirror, and all of a sudden, BAM! you're speakers blast music and your face starts melting, you aren't expecting it and that's why it scares people
