I saw Lincoln Brewster play this at Night Vision in Olatha, Colorado. It was a great show. Before he went on, there was a storm that threatened to cancel the show, but the 10,000 + in the crowd prayed and the storm clouds split and went around us. It was great to watch the lady who translated the song into sign language. She had the biggest smile on her face.

I LOVE the scripture recited at the end, and the fact that it's recited by a young child is even more special! I have sung at our church for many years, and after I heard this version with the scripture added, I began looking for ways to add scripture to my renditions. My playlist has the Chris Tomlin version, but once in a while I like to load up this version, just to hear that sweet child again. Praise God for such talent passed down to another generation.

@badrnu I can't truly understand what you're going through or where you're at, but I want to at least tell you that as far as I'm concerned that it's OK to be angry, even with God. (Been there, done that.) He understands and won't give up on you, even if you've given up on Him for now (for whatever reasons). Others (yes, sadly even many christians) can be incredibly insensitive etc. with each other. Anyway, for what it's worth, my sincere sympathy and may you be blessed. Godspeed.

If you're going through a valley of doubt and you feel like you've lost your faith, just consider that maybe, just maybe, you will regain the faith you think or feel you've lost. Maybe God is preparing you for something bigger by the road you're walking.

I LOVE the scripture recited at the end, and the fact that it's recited by a young child is even more special! I have sung at our church for many years, and after I heard this version with the scripture added, I began looking for ways to add scripture to my renditions. My playlist has the Chris Tomlin version, but once in a while I like to load up this version, just to hear that sweet child again. Praise God for such talent passed down to another generation.

@BarbiexCutie The talking is his first born. He was at YC Edmonton in May and he showed a picture during his concert. After seeing that picture I can't help but picture that cute kid reading scripture. I love it how he makes his music a family thing even in God You Reign he has his wife and two boys say "God, you reign".
