cmon lets get this plane in stock already. the motors on these 1400mm warbirds are not too good. i suggest putting a monster power 25 motor. put 1 on my 1400mm p 47 and the speed doubled. flying on that stock motor the plane seemed really slow and the plane felt like it wanted to fall out of the air. now its awesome.

A heads up on this plane. It was noted in RCGroups by another vendor that test flew it that it was tail heavy and they needed to add 150 grams to the nose to get the CG correct. So, thats great info for those of us getting this bird when it comes out. Tail heavy is not a fun maiden.

Unfortunately due to the rain in CA, We will not be flying any planes until after Wednesday. Maybe just maybe if it stops raining anytime soon we will take it out for sure.

Great video Tony and as the F4U Corsair is on of my all time favourite war birds this could well be the first plane i order off you boys ;-) the only reason i haven't so far is because i live in the UK and the cost of the postage is just to high but for this bad boy i might just live with it LOL,i'll have to wait and see how much it will all come to when you get them in stock,fingers are know crossed ;-) thumbs up.

Tony, 25% MAC (Mean Aerodynamic Chord) for the CG will get you in the ballpark for any plane. Regardless if you have the data from a manual or not, you can always rely on 25% MAC. :)

Awesome plane Tony! Hope it flys as good as it looks. Be careful though, the elevators on Corsairs are VERY sensitive.

Weight shouldn't be a problem because usually warbirds fly better when they are a bit on the heavy side.

I assume you were wearing a hat and a nitroplanes shirt because you were up all night due to the power outage? Get some sleep and fly that thing LOL

@STuRTzzMoNTaGeS No thats a EDF its fast, you need experience. Ive had 5 planes that I can fly very well, and yet have I gone to EDF's. I would recommend any 3-ch or the 4ch Arttech Wing Dragons

Trust me I was like you I wanted something that was fast and cool but your going to want a slower plane first!

@STuRTzzMoNTaGeS stick to the slow planes until you can fly them very well. The slower the plane, the more reaction time you have when you make a mistake. They have a $20 flight sim that I bought and it is well worth the cost. I would definitely get one if I was starting again. Crash a thousand times on your computer and it won't cost another dime
