I sometimes use Diazepam for my insomnia which usually comes on during exam periods I use 2mg tablets though I used one last night and a week before that so i took 2 tablets in one week and before that I used 2 tablets back in february again due to exam insomnia still at 2mg so i basically took 4 2mg tablets over a 6 month period do you think i could get addicted if i keep taking them every 2 or 3 months? BTW i have never taken diazepam for more than one day its always every other month or two

All benzodiazepines have this side effect that you have to take higher and higer dose and if you give after for this urge .... Well you wake up one day and find you,re in hell.......and not many find their way back!!!
This is entirely wrong. Yes, Diazepam does slow down your cells, however, it can do a number of things from making you sick, to hallucations, and sleep. Sleep almost always happens.
i took 10 tramadol at once and i spewed constantly, now i have just taken 6 for my lower back pain plus 3 diazepan for my severe muscle spasms in my arm, i feel good but the muscle spasms are the same reaally intense out of control spasms especially in my right deltoid, i took some oxycodeine when i had severe uvitis and it was an absolute lifesaver, i could't open my eyes due to ridiculous pain when light hit my eyes, tramadol is good but yes i feel some slight sweating ,scratching etc
Don't be an idiot, I got drunk and got these pills and decided to take them...I thought people in the streets knew what I had done and where watching me and I generally freaked out. My brother said he thought I was tripping, and a bad one. It felt like being EXTREMELY drunk, although when you are drunk you feel the effect, dizziness etc. but when you take these as well it takes you to a whole new level. I lost complete control and ended up in hospital. You might not be so lucky next time.
I just took 20 mg to stop a BPS crisis, I think it's working (first time). Problem is, I'm obese, so I guess the working dosage is higher than in average-weight persons? Btw, it's hard to find. I need pills to stay alive at the moment, so it's really frustrating that I never get any legal help no matter who I turn to - psychiatrists, emergency care, whatever, they all refuse to help me stay alive so I just have to order from an illegal dealer and risk prosecution. Ridiculous.
i think the main reason is there are so many idiots using the drug for recreation putting alot of strain on doctors not to mention people selling thats y doctors are tough on patients your bein tested to see if your legit
This drug is the shit. Since my dad got cancer I've been struggling with a lot of unbearable anxiety. Now, I just pop a 2 MG pill of this and I feel great. Sometimes I even have uncontrollable laughter. Haha, it's great.
ive been prescribed this for the last 7 years as a result of ptsd and by god its hard to get off,another thing that annoys me is that everyone thinks that just because your prescribed this its drug related,whaich in my case and many others it isnt..why are the drs coming down so hard now,after getting you hooked??
This drug is well known as being habit forming, why do doctors still give it knowing how addictive it is??? Surely something less habit forming like Effexor would be the better option for Anxiety?
I have been prescribed diazepam for the past 8 years - I don't take it daily, just when I feel I need it - I'm not addicted, I can go for months without taking it. I have a highly addictive personality, but I think that with the proper medical care and monitoring its a safe enough drug.
This is a very sensible approach and helpful to hear taken thoughfully when required that this is a safe and very benificial part of coping with anxiety and enjoying life. As without it.. the enjoyment of life is just non existent.. and a real fear of 'lving' a normal life is always a problem! I have just taken my 1st one, I am only going to take 2mg a day and only when I really need it, not as a habit when its not neccessary.
I feel more relaxed and I only took mine 45 mins ago.

I take 5MG a day for my anxiety.
It is good(works for me)
I took it 3 years age and was taken off it before the end of the first week and I now take it again (Propranolol didn't work)
