Guilmonx3000 is a good example of what happens when you give a newborn monkey a keyboard and internet access. Plus two MMOs are being developed for the DS already. One, which i'm not too excited about, is Maple Story DS, and the next is a Phantasy Star game.

It does look very good however most tech demos look better than anything that could be done in-game simply because they utilize every bit of the CPU for graphics alone. I'm betting this wouldn't look quite as nice with music, A.I., sound effects, etc..

There were some amazing 32x tech demos that looked far better than anything that was released because of that.

Here's another example...Daedalus runs Mario 64 and Mario Kart almost full speed with the sound turned off.

Unfortunately, thats not gonna happen. Game retailers will not sell them, because they can be used for emulation, which is illegal. Its a bit ridiculous really, like DVD systems being banned becuase you can play illegal pirate DVD's on them.

I have played a demo of this, obvious it is on very early stages but it is very solid work and I was thoroughly wow'ed by the lighting and the intricate modelling work. This is one of the most professional looking projects I have seen for the DS ^_^
