@ChrisWI98 : Dupnik, as a law enforcement official should not have said anything other than the facts of the case. To do otherwise might taint the criminal case against the shooter. Dupnik states it was harsh political speech that led to this shooting and infers it was talk radio and rightwing politicians. Kelly got him to admit that it was his personal opinion, not fact. As the Sheriff Dupnik's opinon holds greater weight than most citizens and should not be part of an ongoing criminal case.

@Karnakthemagnificent Dupnik said that a lady standing in line to take a picture with the Democratic Congresswoman tackled the shooter's magazine and gun. He said it was one of the most heroic acts he's ever seen. That was an opinion too. He wants opinion shapers to be less virulent. As a peacekeeper, he should praise some things and condemn others. The only people offended by his comments are Teabaggers. As Mattbro said so eloquently below, that is a real indictment upon them.

@Lombokstrait1 There is no evidence that the shooter was from the right. In fact he said that he did not trust religion and read books such a Mien Kampf and the Communist Manifesto. Those would point more towards a left leaning ideology, but in any case, this was a completely unjustifiable act of violence.
