A spider bigger than your hand? Wow, impressive, never seen one of those when I was there. Have you been to the southeastern part of Taiwan, it has really scenic (by that, I mean beautiful) nice roads along the coast.
@rain74925 I have seen wolf spiders bigger than my fist in the states. They come into my house all the time, but I have grown used to them. I can't imagine the spiders in Taiwan. There's probably some deadly ones, since it's a more tropical region.
I saw that one. It did look a bit familiar. Is there a Chinese name or a number for the Northern Cross Island Highway? I Haven't heard of it. Man! you old lol.
I'm a born Yanky now living in Taipei and I love to wander the mountain roads out here. I know EXACTLY what you mean about those dead end roads. I've got a big yellow Jeep with a lift and 33" tires and it does feel awkward k-turning it at the end of a skinny road which has become the beginning of some farmer's driveway with the dogs a barkin. There are some really good mountain roads in the Northeast in Joifen. That's my favorite spot so far. Where did you shoot this?

Hehe...well you don't know the whole story...I was racing the same car earlier. I cut that part of the video out....because we were both doing high speeds in traffic...and a lot of people complained the first time I uploaded it.

I have one video shot in Joifen. It's called "Taiwan Aboriginal Music". I do most of my mountain riding on the "Nothern Cross-Island Highway".

to go fast enough to beat the cameras in the UK, you need to be doing over 190mph (c. 300kph) -my bike doesn't go that fast...yet
