i love this sound of silverchair....my fav for sure! the first 2 records made them !! which is why its so dissapointing now that they block those 2 records out! they dont want to play them live...they dont like acknowledgeing them !! ya know they changed...they grew up...thats fine....bands change all the time but they shouldnt have the attitude that have now! if they dont play any old songs i wouldnt enjoy seeing them live! their set list should have songs from all eras of their music!!

idk if it was really cause of paul mac, it could also be attributed to daniel's previous issues and whatnot, the kid practically went through a mid-life crisis, poor thing. all i know is i find myself still listening to frogstomp and freakshow and maybe a few songs from neon ballroom but that's about it
