@bonzie1645 Yes...the airfoil was an option for the QV. You can also tell by the additional cooling louvers that cross the rear of the engine bonnet and the center cooling louvers up front on the hood.
Agreed about them being the greatest Ferraris, the 308 in my opinion is the last great Ferrari, after that we got the blunt nosed 328 and then a dreadfull 348, a 355 is fast but it is so dated looking now, very 1990s. I'd have a 308 over any of those or any modern Ferrari, the 308 looks good from any angle, its perfect. Of course if money were no object I'd have a 1960s Calfornia, but thats another story.....better go and check my lottery ticket for now
@christoph404 I agree one hundred percent. i I own a 85 Ferrari 308 Qv in Rossa Red of course. There is no other better sounding vehicle especially at 4,000 rpm and above. The looks of the vehicle are so perfect that it is almost bliss. The 355 is much faster but very dated, the 348 need not to be mentioned either. The 308 is a classic Ferrari for the ages.
names. In fact, this car was I believe the only legal Ferrari to be imported in to the US in the late 70's and early 80's. We didn't get boxers, or 400is legally here I don't think, I may be wrong, Boxers I know for sure we didn't get. If you wanted a Ferrari that didn't have to be smuggled in, this was it. This car should be in a mueseum as one of the most recognisiable automotive shapes in history.
These cars are, in my opinion the greatest Ferraris. Sure there are faster ones, and rarer ones, and more expensive ones, but there is just something about the 308 that is iconic, perhaps almost immortal. Some Ferraris are not known to people who are not car enthusiasts, but just about everyone possibly on the planet knows a 308 when they see one. This was the car that lots of celebrities drove in the 80's, Tom Selleck, Christie Brinkley, Eric Clapton, Macguyver, Eddie Murphy, all the big....
Beautiful 308 in my favorite year and color. This car looks brand new. Question: Did you repaint the rear window lovres? I notice they're all black, like on a 328. 308s usually had a silver edge to each blade. Also, the antenna is black. Weren't they shiny silver on 308s? Wonderful little car!
what sort of a person stands outside a ferrari and hopelessly tries to creat a scene with magnum soundtrack???lol good sound system though let the car do the talking not the music...
It goes behind the back seat (1:18). The car has some road noise, not extremely comfy, but handles unbelievable. It is a nice car, but has quirks. I have the same one, year and all.
Well they are completely different cars. I had a 928S which I loved but I had a lot of issues with it. The 308 is NOT fast through the 1/4 mile, but handles incredible. Good top end for cruising, so you just have to pick your poison. They are going up in value so I think a good car is getting harder to find.
@44CONMANJ I just bought a super clean one for 35k with 40K on the odometer. The car looks like new and drives like a dream. They are going up now for clean maintained originals.

bonzie1645 9 months ago
@bonzie1645 I don't know. I see the owner about once a month. Next time I see him, I'll ask and respond here.

@bonzie1645 yes it a 308 QV you barely see the badge under the see 308.

@DeWina512 i like the QV's... i dunno why but i like them :)
bonzie1645 8 months ago
@bonzie1645 I think it's QV there is a sign in the car ;)
camelklambi 8 months ago
@bonzie1645 Yes, I believe it is. I see that there is a script below the 308 on the backside of the car, and I can only assume, it says quattrovole.

Looks very clean. I updated my 308QV with a 328 rear bumper. Never liked the 308 rear end!!
Seems that Ferrari didn't either!

How well does the targa top seal? Any noise at freeway speeds? Can you stow it in the car?

Thanks again! My '96 993 C4 is a very different beast to the 928, I guess I just need to go drive some Ferraris and see how they compare.
