  • really good video! Thanks for sharing :)

  • To me Home Depot has always seemd rude.. I love Lowe's as well.

  • @Okatieboy maybe just that one home depot store you went to.

  • I went to Lowe's when remodeling houses. Wanted to buy a $50 power tool, wife wanted $200 in garden supplies. PT's are in a secured section with gardening at the other end. Asked to take tool to gardening to write one check for everything, no can do. Asked for manager, no can do, I said I only want to write one check. No can do. Home Depot across street, no problem, take your tool to gardening and they'll check you out! Thanks Lowe's for introducing me to Home Depot. Spent $40K+, so far.

  • Home depot has a new thing called "read the cart" basically associates have to see what items customers have in their shopping carts. The goal is to get 100 or more added into the cart.

So be careful shoppers! Associates want to help, but also want you to spend more. ;)

  • Hi Kim, I really appreciate this video that you have made. I send a broadcast message to my list once a week, but just lately I have ALSO sent a couple of extra messages regarding virus attacks. I am concerned about info overload though.

So great video and all the best,

    Terry

  • I am amazed at the turnaround at Home Depot. So I am a BIG fan of them.

  • @Gusco69 Thanks ;)..

    BUT I am married to Lowe's!!! ;)

  • @Gusco69 I work in D21 at store 582 in San Antonio, Texas. I couldn't agree with you more. We THRIVE off pleasing our customers. :-D

  • LOL Kim!! I challenge myself to buy ONLY what's on my list when I go to the store...and I usually lose that one! (Always see something that "I forgot to write down" )

Your point is well taken. Smart marketers display some "eye candy" to catch the eye and interest of passers-by. I say let 'em browse all they want! :)
