Never knew Moneen before this whole switcharoo thing became appearent to me. Personally (Whether it be actual taste or just nostalgia) I like Alexisonfire's version of both songs more. But saying that, Moneen wrote a pretty kick ass song (Passing of America) They Have some good writing skills, Ill give them that. This whole this is a cool way of seeing how different bands can have vastly different styles. I want to see some Deathcore band cover a Mozart song next!

I find it interesting. I prefer the moneen covers of accidents and sharks and danger, but prefer the alexisonfire covers of passing of america and tonight Im gone.

I love this version, and Moneen, but I think that Alexisonfire has a much stronger version of both songs, but I think that's because the dynamics between three singers allows them to do so much more with the music.

i really like the whole idea of 2 bands covering each others songs. especially when they're friends. the whole switcheroo album was for fun... so why bash them? unless ofcourse your band smaherlord and anniereation are better? If so please send me a link of how much better you are! they're not trying to be alexisonfire.

@AnnieRection ok guys, covers aren't supposed to sound exactly like the original. the farther they are from the original the more of a cover they are. covers are supposed to be influenced by the band covering's style.

This version is alright in some ways. But it doesnt hold a candle to the power and intensity and emotion in Alexisonfire's version. The contrast between dallas and george's vocals is alot of what adds the emotion and power into this song. Decent cover though.

i prefer the alexis version to the moneen one, it's more intense xD and cuz george's scream is one of my favourite parts of the band, and dallas' voice is like no one else's. however in the moneen version, i CAN hear the lyrics more clearly in the parts that george screamed xD

there's no bands that sound like alexis, they're canadian so they're original sounding... well actually it's mostly dallas' voice that's original. silverstein, cancer bats and holly springs disaster are canadian bands that sound kinda different... if you want to get into the heavier stuff there's beneath the massacre but i don't like them so much.
